Commentators keep saying Shehzad got out cause he wasn't moving his feet through his brief turn at bat. Not moving feet cause HE LOVES TAKING SELFIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe our batting is so bad. Pak batsmen look so nervous and edgy at the crease as if they have no confidence and self-belief. Look at all the other established teams esp. Aus, SA, India and Lanka; their batsmen play with evident flair, confidence and imagination. Look at Lanka for instance. They are under some pressure against England but they are batting with a real sense of purpose and going about 310 run-chase like it is very achievable
Even UAE made 285 against this Zimbabwean side!

the players look scared out there.. never seen players look so sad and scared.. and that too against Zimbabwe.. we just keep hitting new lows in the tournament.. scrap this whole team please.. scrap the entire PCB, and start fresh.. disgusting and shameful

ok fine, throw umar akmal out and put sarfraz in...he will be just another pathetic player on these bouncy pitches and by the way he is marginally better than akmal as a keeper

all i am saying that our batting is completely out of depth on these pitches..and srafraz wont make any difference. we have bigger issues...for example no one is pointing out that why the hell pak didnt get one single aus tour in 6 years? read it again, 6 years
why didnt pak get one single tour of England in last 5 years?
how come you will improve when you will never play on these pitches. India on the other had 4+ tours of aus and eng in last 5 years.
getting these tours is 100% PCB responsibility. they could have at-least done that

Yes Sarfaraz is not magician and yes he will fail too but in low morale situation body language helps a lot. Sarfaraz is a chirpy character. He will bat (for however long) with hunger and he will keep the team going while keeping. And I can bet he will score more runs than Jamshed.

uncle, i am not specifically criticizing you. my comment was in general. i did read your post and i know what i am saying. if you want sarfraz in, he cannot open the innings on these pitches. not fair to him and not fair to the team. he is not an opener by any means and will not handle the new ball on these pitches. dead uae pitches are different.
Given how bad our batting is, you cannot afford opening with sarfraz. he will need to play below and if that is the case, umar akmal needs to be dropped. That sarfraz will score more than jamshed or any other regular opener is just a thought. if you have to make a strategy, then you still need to bet on a regular opener in these conditions. better question would be, why did we send jamshed to this tour instead of some other opener but thinking sarfraz can somehow open in aus does not make sense strategically.

and that is why i am saying..better question is why the hell we sent out an out of form opening batsman once we lost hafeez. maybe becasue we dont have any other alternative? i dont know. if that is the case, that is pathetic
so far every team in aus is opening with regular opening pair. no one is experimenting with non regular openers. it is extremely important to see off new ball on these pitches. we tried younis and it failed miserably. asking sarfraz to open here in aus and nz is not fair to him and not to the team.
if sarfarz has to play, he will play below the order as keeper and akmal needs to be dropped. simple as that. if we dont have any opener left, fine drop jamshed and ask umar akmal to open as he is at least technically a better batsman than sarfraz....
