Just imagine 15 runs required in last over n Sami gave those runs on. Just 4 balls, wht was misbah thinking while givin last over to Sami v can't bat v can't field n yes v can't ball y. V even playing

When u see, you have no other choice, you put ur hopes on what you have "Sami"... its better to have hopes on Sami than just giving up at end of 45 overs.

I tried my best to like Sami, but he just proved he is not international class.

Hahhaha before match started when everyone was complaining about afridi I said the same y v should not blame misbah for his poor selection of team :mad2:

Afridi got two wickets at the crucial stage and bought us back into the match its Gul and Sami who screwed us in the end

Hafeez and Afridi did a great job

common dnt be too critical of his captaincy, captain alone can’t win you the matches. Whole team has to perform in all three depts (bowling, fielding and batting) to win matches.

Look at the whole picture. Check the first spell of Sami. He has been extremely expensive, but why? Apart from the 6 in his last over, I did not see any bad ball from him. Time to criticize the fielding; not Sami.

I stand firm that it was fielding that let us down, not just Sami. A fast bowler will leak that many runs if he is not supported by fielders. That is bound to happen. His pace is his enemy if he is all alone in the field.

Look at the drop catch on his bowling. Look at the fielding when there were chances missed for run outs. Look at how ball crossed the boundaries so many times after hitting the legs of a fielder. Just look!!!

So, based on this logic, I am guessing that Pakistan won the 4th ODI :clap:

Oh wait. I just saw on cricinfo. Pakistan also lost that game and the number one bowler leaked 50 runs with only two wickets. Hafeez and Sohail Tanveer both claimed two wickets too but gave fewer runs than the number one bowler, 37 and 43 respectively.

You see it’s not about the number one bowler. It was not wise to use the slow bowler at that stage of game anyway.
