:insh: just like 1992 when Pakistan beat hosts New Zealand at their home ground, Pak will beat host team SL at their home ground after the hosts are hot favorites with no loses in Super 8.

However Gul needs to go sharpen his yorker

and PCB please after this tournament can you for Goodness sake find a REAL bowling coach…get rid of this M. Akram. Can’t you hire a West indian or Australian bowling coach. Get Geoff Watson back for bowling to work with Whatmore. They both like each other.

Do you mean Geoff Lawson? If so, then I’m with you on this! I liked that guy a lot… he made quite a difference and enabled Pak team to the finals in 2007 T20WC… and he still always has good things to say about Pakistan!

and if you meant Akhtar...then his is not coaching material...he is far too indisciplined..its not a galee kee practice thing you know..

Sorry for misquoting his name.

I mean ideally they should get an Ambrose, or other for a coach. But if nothing get Lawson again. He was disciplined and knows fast bowling. Maybe not along the lines of Akhtar, Waqar or Wasim..but he can teach discipline as well in bowling as well as off field.

We need to have a plan against Ajantha Mendis and esp. Malinga (arguably the best T20 death bowler). All teams have struggled to score runs off his bowling
