Weather just helped them become World Champions in West Indies, so they are on a high, don't worry.
Captain bhia I could not help this tongue in cheek remakr..
I happen to know a certain team who owe a big thank you to their only ODI world cup glory, otherwise even semifinal worth was out of question let alone eventual victory in final... So never undermine the power of rain..
Indian team is doing well in longer version last six one day series they have won all over the world.. I guess In austarlai Srilanak everywhere it was weather which helped them win 6 back to back one day series..
Ask yourself honestly just two match semi final and final pakistan wopn before everytime they were tested against top tema them came cropper.. And suddenly pakistan thought it's new dawn..
For instance if India had to win 20/20 world chamiponship it must have won at least five game against top teams y by contrast pakistan's grouping was that that somehow they had to end up infinal on back of one game against a quality side NZ..
so total three games and world champion.. this is what happens you get grounded pretty fast..
Still hurting and samarting from the 20/20 whipping.
No mate we are gloating over six back to back one day series victory..
BTW lest you guys forget in last ten tests you have not won a single match..
BTW take it easy it's after all a game..

It's all in jest take it easy
I know to happen a certain team who has lost more Test matches than they have won (99 won, 136 lost), and its not Pakistan ;)
Was complacency a factor? Did overconfidence kill us?
“We never thought we’d lose this game” is what Younis said in postmatch interview.
We need to have some game plan in case we lose a few quick wickets. Too often we forget the famous adage that its not over until the last ball is bowled.
Sri Lanka too need to work on their batting. **Sri Lanka won but were they the better team over 3.5 days? I think not!! **For three days we played better cricket than the hosts despite having played so infrequently over the past two years, but in less than one session (you could say one over) of madness we undid it all.
In one sense it proves that the twists and turns of test matches beat anything that the limited overs format has to offer
Re: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, First Test, Galle, Jul 4-8, 2009
I dunno about all of you, but I’m not hugely disappointed over the loss… I personally think that Pak played better cricket than SL for 3 out of the 4 days (barring the fielding lapses), and this 4th day loss seemed more due to complacency and SL playing aggressively than they had during the entire match. Overall, the positives out of this match outweigh the negatives…e.g. Moyo’s return with a bang, Aamer’s stellar performance with the ball, and generally good batting by Misbah and Akmal in the first innings.
I’m looking forward to the next matches - hopefully they’ll be closely contested as well but with a different result in favor of Pak :k:
When the overall record is against you than people try and find comfort in other things, like which ground or which tournament they have beaten the other side more times even though overall they have got whipped comprehensively by the other side.
You have to go back a little to know where I am coming from.
The fact is you haven’t beaten India in winning the world cup.
Pakistan deserved the T20 world cup but the way some members were poking fun at Indians were just not good.
