What lead? We will do well now to get close to the SA total whereas only 45 minutes ago I was really thinking in terms of a first innings lead. It is going to be very difficult for Pakistan to force a result in their favour. Talk about being inconsistent and unpredictable....90 for none quickly became 123/4!

*Once again, don't pick Akhtar. You don't think he could have cleaned up the tail within the score of 300? What the hell were Asif and Gul doing out there? Pathetic bowling by both pacers. No wonder Dr. Nasim Ashraf will send Akhtar on the trip to India along with the rest of the shmucks.

It's not a matter of Shoaib not getting picked... rather Shoaib making himself "unavailable" for selection through his actions. Hitting your own teammate ranks right up there with killing babies.
Having said that, I hope he gets picked for India tour and lasts the whole tour.

What a pity? Finally when we got a decent opening-partnership we just could n't make it count. And instead of finishing day 2 in a comfortable position, we now find ourselves possibly staring at a 2-0 series loss/white-wash (unless there's an Inzi special on day 3)
