With Inzi back in the squad, we’ll see the strong middle order playing together for the last time…Younus Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, and Inzamam-Ul-Haq.
Pakistan definetly need to make a pitch that will help out Asif and Gul a bit as well…we cannot rely on the incosistent Kaneria and the inexperienced Rehman. Pakistan made a mistake of going with only 2 pacers in the first test, hopefully they won’t do it again.
Openers is another problem area. I’m sure Taufeeq or Hameed will replace Hafeez at the top of the order as Butt is likely to stay.

why do tests in pakistan start on MONDAY?? they are frickin idiots. Attendance is low enough as it is, they have to rule out virtually everyone over 24 by making sure the whole test is played over weekdays. atleast have the 4th and 5th days on sat and sunday.

Meeda and Feeqa both can't bowl (as Hafeez does, reasonable). Malik cannot be dropped since he is thecaptain and rearguardian. Should Kaneria be dropped for another pacer and Rehman be retained for his versatility? May be Malik should sharpen his spin once again.
It may sound stupid once again, and I hate to say it, but after seeing Pakistan's countinous bad run with the openers, Afridi in tests is thousand times better option than our six loosers. His sharp leggies are very useful, and his survival rate with the bat is same if not better than ghonchoos.

^ too many batsmen in there. maybe drop one of taufeeq/yasir and add afridi, drop rehman (kaneria is still the better bowler) and bring in another quickie.

So true... Best thing is to have a Thursday start. This way 3rd and 4th day happens on weekend. These days test usually ends on 4th day so you have most intresting days on weekend.

Agreed. Once again, PCB shows its incompetence in every possible way. Like really, how hard is it schedule matches properly? All the stadiums are virtually owned by them anyways, so there is no prospect of scheduling conflicts.
