Does a player who scores 63 runs off 100 balls against Namibia deserves a place in the side
Who left Imran Nazi home? ![]()
.. and he can field and bowl too waqt anae per. ![]()
not being mean here, he used to be good with all his weight, dieting kills your inside, daekha :-\
what are you talking about..imran nazir wouldnt even have scored 63 in the whole tournamentā¦i think elahi played greatā¦i am glad he scored 63 and stayed as long as he could
Well we've made enough to win which is the first priority but an unconvincing batting display even so. All credit to Namibia they bowled well, but I think the lack of confidence in our top order made them look better than they were. I,m pretty sure Australia and England will tonk these same bowlers all over the park. No one seems capable of taking a hold of a game any more. The batting was far too cautious against such a weak team.

Not a very convincing batting performence by the Pakistanis at all. They have managed a decent total against a team like Namibia, but Namibian bowlers really bowled well....and they were excellent in the field. Inzamam certianly disapointed a lot by his poor performence. these days I think even Afridi can score more runs then him ;)

The biggest mistake inzamam made was to lose all tht weight....the wieght was a part of who he was....so wht if he got run out or was slow between the wickets...at least he scored! :(
Well dont take the credit away from Elahi. He kept the Pakistani Innings together, although he struggled out there. He seemed to be in much better touch against the Aussies. Lets wait and see what Razzaq does with the bowl. If there is anyone who needs to be dropped from the current team, then I think it would be Razzaq because he bowled worse than Afridi in the previous game against the Aussies. But the again, lets wait and see how he does with his bowling in this match.
Elahi allowed Namibian bowlers to get on top of him, 63 or not. It was Yoyo, Latif and Wasim who saved us here by getting the run rate up to a respectable level.
Go ask Inzi he would also say that āi stayed on pitch for as long as i couldā
Imran Nazir over all is much better than Elahi and not to mention heās a way better fielder than Elahi. Elahi has been arouund for ages still hasnāt been able to prove anything.

Yes thats true...he never seemed comfortable out there, especially against the spinners and in the begining.
he scored the most run and you are blaming him..i dont get you woman
Doesnāt take you too long to make a statement abt āwomenā does it ![]()
If Elahi had got out early then we would not even had reached this score. He held the innings together. Not every player is required to be a tulley baaz. Someone has to anchor the innings. Elahi did that and thats why we reached 255.

Yeah thats true Ehsan bhai...but frankly speaking I think he was pretty lucky to survive out there that long...:(
lads look at what SA has done to NZ, especially Gibbs. Thats what we should have done to Namibia batting wise. Do you really think this batting line up will be able to stand up to England and India. God help us.
Not a very convincing batting performance but nvertheless its good enough. Now apart from cricket I have a question for all of you watching the match. Isnt Jimmy Adams really really annoying. He is the one who comes on with Rameez. He repeats wprds like 5 times before finishing the sentence. " I I I I think ......"
Elahi anchored ok, but he didn't look capable of hitting the Namibian bowlers even after 35 overs. For me that's slightly worrying.
well now every thing depend on bowlin i think wasim bowlin won't b gr8 az it waz in eht match against aus i feel like dat he won't take more than 2 wicketz
Scoring runs is his job but the way he did it that too against Namibia am sorry in my book he doesnāt deserve a place in the side. A player who after playing 100 deliveries was still uncomfortable against a weak attack doesnāt deserve to be there. No am not saying other batsmen did well ![]()

Thats right... Agreed we need someone to anchor the innings but atleast he needs to be convincing. Elahi was never comfortable out there and he wasnt really able to pick up any bowlers. He was having a hard time rotating the strike, let alone go for some big ones.
