I dont think there is any rivalry between Sachin and Wasim for whatever reasons. Sachin's rivalry is probably more with Akhtar(If India Pakistan start playing ) Untill then Sachin's true rivalry is against Mcgrath.
Sachin's true rivalry during the 2000 Australian Triangular series was with Abdur Razzaq. Razzaq had Sachin's number as he bowled him two out of 4 encounters.
ALso, Saqlain proved hard to play for Sachin during the 99 series in India.

FG yaar, you are quite hillarious, just because Razzaq bowled Sachin twice doesn't make it a rivalry. There are so many bowlers who have got sachin twice but it cant be called rivalry. Sachin's only rivalry so far has been again Aussie bowlers Warnie/Mcgrath/gillespie, WI bowlers Walsh/Ambrose and to a certain extent Fanie devilliers of SA.
About Saqlain being hard to play, no doubt Saqi bowled very well in that series but Sachin also had some success against him and other bowlers in that series. In the 1999 series Kumble Got Inzamam 3 out of 4 times but that doesn't make it a rivalry.

I know what you said - and playing in one series doesn't make rivalry. There also you were wrong Razzaq took Sachin's wicket 3 out of 3(and not 2 out of 4 - Razzaq played only 3 games against India) he played against him.
