Well what kinda records are we talking abt. ...are we talking here abt ICC test championship and ODI points table. You should certainly look at that. And don't tell India played Kenya, bangladesh and weaker countries. This ICC 10 year plan was devised by ICC not BCCI.

Indians deserve to take the pi$$ out of Pakistan’s bowling performance as they deserve it. Just like many of us take the pi$$ out of the Indians when we beat them in any sport.
However, even though the above quote from the ‘Times of India’ may have bee said in ‘jest’, it Just goes to show the Indian mentality. When thousands of Muslims were being burnt to death by the Hindus and with hundred thousand Muslims still languishing in the refugee camps of India, where were the comments about UN Intervention from the Indian media?
That was a fantastic match.
When pakistan scored 273, many ppl belived that the score was very good but i think if they have capatilised on the start given to them by saeed anwar (middle order would have clicked), the final pakistani score could have been easily 300+20-30.
But with the ppl like great Wasim and Wakar on, even a score like 250 is defendable on a flat track. I was not sure @ the performance of shohaib as he think that pace is key to get wickets. I feel pity for this guy, who even after playing for years with ppl like wasim and wakar dont know what the bowling is all about. I dont think it worth mentioning offcolor bowler like abdul razzak.
Right from the start of this tournament, Sachin was playing with determination and he is in prime form. When he gets going no one can stop him not even bowling god like wasim.

I don't know why people don't think Pak batting was in disarray. On a batting track 273 is decent score, not "GOOD" score. Other than Saeed all the batsmen were struggling to find the ball. Only one managed to cross 30???? and that is "batting clicked" ????? When "Batting clicks" more batsmen score 40+. If it were not Saeed's century, Pakistan was out for 200-220 (being optimistic).
Then came our erratic bowling which the mastermind made it look like Namibia bowling. Overall, it was pathetic display of bowling, marginal batting performance and fielding.
Anyway, I m just looking forward to see what our team would look like now since Wasim is going, Waqar should go. I hope that Saeed and Inzimam stay there for a while. Afridi should be included in "Pakistan A" or "Pakistan B" team to learn some lessons. Shoaib should be sent to himalayas to have his brain cooled.

Don't look at the past...see what's happening right now..India chased over 300 totals more than anyone else, but that's doesn't means they can chase all the time. Also Pakistan did defeated India many times( 52-30 in favor of Pakistan), You can't keep on basking under the glory of past results. gotta perform..certainly it's a nice record, other than it doesn't achieves anything. Doesn't means Pakistan can defeat India everytime, and in fact look at the world cup. You guys are loosing consistently. Everyone was saying if pakistan bats first and score 250 they r gonna win. God know what happened that day to Paki bowlers. Now don't say If tendulkar would have got out the result would have been different. If you can't take a catch what r u doing in a world cup. Furthermore when tendulkar got out, still 100 runs were to be needed. Paki bowlers coldn't even get yuiv and dravid..that was kinda surprising..

I read that the catch that was dropped cannot really be called a chance - it'd have taken a big miracle to make that one. That being the case I don't think you can blame the fielder for missing it.

Sardar jee, I know its 12:00 but read what I said.. Pakistan's record is better than India's, playing against each other, and overall... Now dont tell me you dont know the difference b/w the word record and rank (u popped in these ICC rankings and all). I was just questioing aatif, who said that India mastered the game (as if teams like Australia are still minnows), so I gave him a reality check up. And I know how frightened you were when Tendulkar got out, the Pakistanis in whose house you watched the match told me ;)

I also know How sad all the pakistanis were who watched the game with us in CMU auditorum they jumped with joy after sachin got out, but unfortunately for them - Yuvraj singh was just too hot to handle. Best bowling attack in the world couldn’t get a Baccha out
