India's bowlers are ordinairy. Zaheer Khan will get creamed by top flight batsmen. Srinath is still their only decent pace bowler and the next best are the spinners, Harbajan and Kumble.
Sachin and Sehwag are a good opening pair and it makes me laugh to see Ganguly suddenly becoming a 'danger' again. He was always a good batsmen but because he hit a bad run of formeveryone started to call for his head. Just like they are now calling for Inzimam's and Yoyo's ;)

Hummmm...I beg to differ on Zaheer.I think heis very decent and at present india's best bowler.
Tweaking with the lineup is not going to win this match for Pak. Some focus by all the players will win it.
Jokes aside, India's bowling is quite weak so the batsman should step up and deliver. India's batting is good on paper but highly inconistent so the bowlers really need to capitalize intelligently.
Akhtar should chill with the speed and focus on line and length like Akram; else Sachin and Sehwag could do more damage than Knight and Collingwood did.
This will be a great game, not only will it be a emotional encounter for both nations, but this game means a lot in the World Cup group stages.
I just hope no one gets hurt after the game. I suspect the British police to keep a good watch of the pubs in England, and no internal violence occurs in India or Pakistan after one side loses.
Indians handle spinners very well. I suggest opt saqlain out and bring in Muhammed Sami. They struglle against quality fast ball. what do you guys think?

I think pakistan will win this one....theyre always charged up playin India...since the Indians are good players of spin.....saqlain should be replaced by sami!
I'm convinced that Shoaib should not open the bowling. He's bowling very well but he is significantly handicapped by the fielding restrictions.
I also think the reason why Pakistan has had trouble finishing off teams is because Shoaib bowls in the beginning and even though Was/Shobby get wickets, the pressure really drops in the middle overs.
Waqar bowls well enough in the beginning. So, in my opinion Shoaib must be preserved to build pressure in the middle overs.

We need some "team effort;" bowling and batting. no misfielding, no dropping catche, (asal main suraj aankhon main par raha tha) , don't wanna listen to excuses. This is the Final for us.
We will inshallah win.

I've been saying this from the start. Waqar can swing the ball both ways and he's dangerous with the new ball. Shoaib will be just as dangerous after 10 overs IMO.
