I’m Gonna Be The Champ
The Way I Wanna Be

I don't see the reason why we everyone is surprised at Pak being ahead of India, Pakistan has always been a great team, but its a shame that most of us only remeber the times we have lost but not won, its a huge improvement for a team who was humiliated in the hands of England, Australia, and Westindies in the 60s and 70s, and for the past 15 years, we probably have a better win percentage than any other teams.

There is no doubt that Pakistan has put up a superior performance than India in Test Cricket and is constantly improving.

India has been pathetic as a team although has produced some outstanding batsmen like Gavaskar and Tendulkar.

Even Sri Lanka has surpaased India as far as winnings percantage is concened.

The only reason India has not been able to win is primarily due to inability to produce any one real FAST BOWLER in their history and therefore they have not been able to win many matches outside India on fast bouncy wickets and thats the main reason behind pakistan superior performance compared to indians. They need to learn that bowler win matches.

analyze it
i heard catches win matches .not bowlers

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/biggrin.gif

now i don't think stats show much...as it is thru bad umpiring in sharjah for oneday venues that pak has won so much!!as showing off the test match record...show me the winning record against which team have they won?r the stats really true?????

So if Pak thrashes you in Sharja, that's the fault of neutral umpires. Pathetic whiners!

Look up Pak one day record againt India in India. It's still better.

Pak has always been a better team. Stats show that.

If that is the deal then Pak shouldn’t even
have recieved the test status.

If you are talking about bad umpiring then India should be number 1 in both test and one days.
Get this in your head, umpire never favor any countries or players, they make mistakes, there were many decision that have gone against Pakistan in the past, just because Pakistan is superior than India doesn't mean they win because of the umpires.

On the Contarary Indian bowlers have always done well abroad. Most of the Time India has lost matches due to the pathetic performance of its batsmen. Whenever our batsmen have given reasonable score to defend, Our bowlers have defended them very well.

AK

Incorrect. Check out stats How many times Indian bowlers average was less than 35 when playing abroad? Not often.

Do you want that for all the bowlers or just one bowler ?

AK

Who has been India's fastest bowler since India started playing cricket ? What was his speed ?

Kapil

-100 mph

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/smile.gif

Here comes Asif k trying to prove me wrong by saying he is our legend thats why he is highest wicket holder blah blah.

Well b4 u say that.

  1. He is not currenlty the highest wicket taker, 1. Walsh, 2. Shane

**2. We are talking speed not highest wicket taker don’t confuse. **

India's fastest bowler was Kapil Dev.
How fast he was is the question that should be answered by the batsmen who played him.
Most critics believe that Sir VIVIAN RICHARDS was the best batsman to play fast bowlers. He used to destroy the fast with such an ease and grace which is almost unbeleivable. Fortunately Sir Viv had the ooportunity to play the fastest bowler PRODUCED by India. Here is what Sir Viv Richard has to say about Kapil Dev, " You say Kapil was a fast bowler? Do you know what Viv (Richards) said about him? Viv used to tell that Kapil was so slow that you couldn't even go for hooking him!"

Oneguy, Check out the performance of Srinath and co. Vs worlds best Fast bowlers from Pakistan (LOL) Akram,Rawalpindi Express (Now I have to call him that)and waqar Younis.

Once again I can only LOLOLOL at Worlds fastest bowlers' avgs abroad in last series they play against these countries.LOL

Gandalf, Fastest Indian bowler so far has been SRINATH with 149.6 his fastest. He was the second fastest bowler in the 1999 wold cup next to Shoaib Akhtar.

Analyze it - Where did you hear King say that , BTW here is one more quote from the KING about Kapil :-

"Kapil is a guy I have always admired. I have always thought he was that one person who carried the Indian flag to the cricket field, and he was one of the few Indian who showed it. He was always the great fighter, he had his chest out and took great pride in representing his country. And I in the opposition saw it and admired it"
