Yes the batsmen are inept, but it is more psychological V India. The same line up overcame Australia, who are a league apart, and yet NEVER overcome India in big games. How they can get mental strength I dont know, I suggest they all become Bhuddists.

shoaib malik has scored in all matches and helped us to win many matches. i am more disappointed with players like yk and afridi. these guys are senior players. they should have been targetting to stay at the end.
Well, YK is not really limited over player and if he is asked to play limited over, than that is wrong of selectors. As for Shahid Afridi, he is a gamble. If he clicks he could alone turn the match but if he does not, let other 10 do the job. So, one could not complain about SA doing bad.
Shoaib is actually a suitable limited over player and to me, he is not a test player. So, if he does bad, that is really problem.

pak has beaten india in countless big games including many in front of indian crowd. for the past few years pak batting performance has been pathetic in big match situations starting from 1999 finals. our batsmen cannot cope with pressure from big games.

pak has beaten india in india multiple times. last big match i can think of was the silver jubilee match in which butt got a 100 and pak scored nearly 200 to win in front of 100k people in eden garden. btw i can bet pak has winning odi record against india in india.

yes we are chokers period and not only against india against whom we have pretty decent record in big games. look at the results of the last triangular tournament in aus. bolwers put pak in winning situation but bastmen could not deliver. our bastmen simply dont deliver in crunch games such as the one against ireland. india has nothing to do with it as you insinuate. pak has been doing poorly in all odi tournaments such as mini world cup where pak has lost even after beating india.

Let's not be cynical. Pakistan clearly over performed in this tournament. No one expected us to go this far and add all the drama that came before it, we should be happy.

Shoaib described the turning point as Imran Nazir's run out. When asked that what about his own dismissal as well as Afridi's in one over, he said that I would still consider Nazir run out as he was not allowed a runner when he was nedding one.

omg pakistan lost.it was soooooooooooo bad.india has a really strong team!misbah ul haq,shahid afridi,yasir,fawad alam and others played well in the other matchesdidnt even get 1 run and was out.misbah ul haq stayed until the very end but hi tryed 2 make a 6 but the india guy cought it.they all played weaklly 2day.and malik sed that they put 100% effert into the game and that was rite they did!wen india cought the ball at the end misbah jus sat down and couldnt get up.i was about 2 cry!!
