As per many sources Aurat ka Aurat sai bi pardah hai which means a woman too should not reveal to another woman.

Keeping this stance in mind, i find it really odd how conveniently majority of the muslim women get body wax and bikini wax etc from other women. Same way, many women change their clothes in front of some one else, in parlours they are wearing revealing gowns for the beauty purposes etc.

No matter how hygienic purposes these maybe but this is clearly stated as wrong to reveal yourself in front of any one other than your husband. So what is your stance on this? DO you think this is okay to do? If it is, what makes you think it is fine to go with?

First, as mentioned by Lusi, it can be hard to thoroughly wax certain parts of your body by yourself.

Is it better to get the bikini wax done by another woman or by a guy? And just to mess things up…what if you get it done by a lesbian woman? Would that be more dangerous than getting it done by a gay guy?

So, should she get her waxing done by female relatives in her immediate family then? Such as a mom or sister? And what if that’s not possible? Would female members of her extended family be considered inappropriate compared to those in her immediate family? Where does one draw the line?

What if she goes to a parlor because she wants it done by a professional? She could have the professional come to her home…or she could request a private room at the parlor. These are also options…but may not always be possible for various reasons.

Sure, they could change in a bathroom stall. But you can’t control what other women or people in general will will do. So, if she’s changing in front of you…then don’t look at her. I’m not going against the purdah with women rule…You just do your best in situations that are hard to control.

Me soching… How important is for a woman to have her back and other areas waxed if not married?
