That bounce was scary. Butt just put bat on ball and for a moment, it seemed like the ball was shot from a cannon.

Yes, it was clearly knicked.
This is exactly why I would want to bowl on this 'seaming' pitch (at least in the first few stages, where the movement is quite large).

It was clearly a nick. If you see the replay, the ball hit the bat on the way to the keeper.
The commentator kept mentioning that it was not out, however, the replay showed complete opposite.
Even Waqar said it was a noise, and was leaning towards a yes.

Waqar is wrong, it wasn't out you can clearly see that the bat was at least an inch away from the pad and it only nicked the pad
