He was injured. Should be OK for Pindi.

hope so...and they better get rid of this Rana guy.

and did Sami just have a haircut...seemed like it. He needs to be sent back to the barbers.

A few things to be done before the next match:

Rana should be bit*h slapped and deported from Pakistan.
His domestic team should be dissolved
His sifarish should be shot dead

Sami and Shoib should be told that its a cricket match, not a speed contest.
Sami should do something about his hair. I suggest sending him to the nearest nai.

how is the pitch in pindi. is it a batting track.

I was watching Star News from India and Sandip Patil the ex Indian player was giving his views on the game and this is what he said:

"India won the game, Pakistan won the hearts."

That is a very correct summary. Even though I support Indian team I felt for Pakistan team today

quite a win-win situation :roman:

looking forward for pindi game :smooth:

^^ Shoaib Akhtar on home ground...Shabbir coming back...oh yes

Bit*h slapping needed for Sami, 74 runs conceded. The guys is experienced now and still does not know where to pitch and no control over line.

Rana was okay, his first over was disaster but then he took control of it and bowled much better than our speedster Sami. Both of them costed 147 runs altogether.

Younis Khan kept Inzi under pressure by not being able to hit boundaries and pushed Inzi for singles/doubles.

Inzimam, though played gem of a inning, but he shouldn’t be captain. What good is a captain if he is dead tired on 122 especially when you are a BATSMAN? I am sure if he had to run for 1 or 2 more runs, he would have fainted.

Exciting game :k:

huh? come again sir? Younis Khan made sure that inzimam gets most of the strike and maintainted 100 percent strike rate himself too. You jsut cant score on every ball, thats not cricket. Give credit where its due.

Inzamam played a gem of an innings. Seeing his face, you could tell he was so tired, probably about to faint, but still kept batting til his ability. A true captain’s knock, too bad the hitters down the or order couldn’t win us the match. One has to lose, but Im so glad Pakistan went down Fighting, and were not lame, like our bowlers. For the next match, there definetly needs to some team changes made.

I think one thing which Indians must applaud is the last over by Nehra. Some people didn’t even want him to be in the playing 11 before the game, and what a gem of a last over he bowled. Except for the last ball, the rest were right at the feet, impossible for the batsmen to hit it out of the ground.

Hopefully the second match will be just as exciting :jhanda:

yup. last over from Nehra was just great:k:

He did keep Inzi under pressure. He hit 5 boundaries, 4 4s and 1 six. That means out of 48 balls he faced 5 were hit for the ropes while there were more "singles", "doubles" or "dots" knowing Inzi can't run (which is pathetic in its own). His strike rate climbed to 100 very late in his inning. Yes he ended up with SR 100 with useful 46, but his inability to guide balls in right direction or for foundaries kept Inzi under pressure for boundaries. Moin or Malik at that time would have been a better choice. But oh well.

i would liek to congrats the indians… well played.
i also want to say weldone to inzi but i have to say he is not captain material. unluky dravid i like this guy the most in the indian team.

i was in shock at how well pakistan batted and how poorly they bowled. its not the indians who beat us it was our bowlers.

can i say sehwag is one of the most rubish batsmen its shocking he should have been out so many times… i am sorry but this guy is like a glorified shahid afridi ( like imran nazeer but with sachin style) his batting technique is horific how the hell did he make ti into the team.

ganguly is a so arrogant and a soar loser… did u gues see how long he took to go.. i remmber inzi did that and he got fined. have u guys heard wat he has said about the first team not being docked overs. the dumb ass seems to forget the rule was changed a year ago.

this is a big mystery how hemang badani came out of the collision without a scratch. It sure looked nasty in the replay.

What logic. Going by your logic, Inzi faced 102 balls and he hit only 12 fours and 2 sixes. Means 88 balls were there for dots, doubles and singles?? Similarly, Youhana played 68 ball, hit 5 fours and 4 sixes and 59 balls were one, twos and dots:eek: You shuold blame them too, shouldnt you? You cant score boundaries off every ball and score runs off ever ball. In the end what matters is your strike rate and how you combined for partnerships in quick times.

Secondly Inzi has improved his running a lot. No matter whoever was playing instead of inzimam at that time would have faced such a situation because of humidity and other factors. So saying that Moin or Malik would have hit boundaries is absurd because they would have focused on singles and giving strike to inzimam.

Exactly, it could have been really bad for both Kaif and Badani. It reminded me of a splendid catch Shahid Afridi took off Trescothik in England while colliding with Shoaib Malik. Shoab Malik broke his bone i htink in that match.

that is very very poor sportsmanship from Ganguly. If the rules have changed and he is not in know, that is his fault not anyone else’s. If the rule is absurd, why hasn’t anyone else complained about it? What is absurd though is the fifteen minute yoga session he held on the pitch after getting out.

He as captain and representative of Team India really should try to understand the circumstances the series is being held in and try to carry on in the same spirit.

Two incidents stood out for me in the crunch overs. One was the catch by Kaif. I have never seen such choreography. HE sailed over Badani who did a neat skid under Kaif. It turned the match around.

The second was that of Miandad constantly gesturing to his batsmen. He must have distracted them a good deal.
