One good thing that will come out of Shoaib's absence is the golden chance Sami's got to prove himself. I hope he bowls well tonight, otherwise considering the bowlers we have available to us (Wasim, Waqar, Saqi, Shoaib, Saqlain, ShoaibA, and Razaq ) he may not find a consistent place in the team until after the world cup.
We do need two replacements after the world cup though, one each for Wasim and Waqar

oh yaar Sherry come on! Drop a seasoned professional like Saeed to play two tullas as Zalim said above? Have they not experimented with them enough to know that they can't give us a decent start in 4 out of 5 matches?

^ I think it's good to let Saeed sit in the first game.... he hasn't played in a long time and he should look at the first game and see how it is...see how everyone else plays and then start him in teh second and third game...but i also think starting two tullas is a bad decision...

It's correct that Saeed will be playing after a long time, but having so many tullas (regardless of the fact how they may perform tonight) puts the team under psychological pressure. Besides, one has to start some time, the sooner it is done, the better.
You don't want Saeed to go on the crease in second or third match when the pressure is worse.
But, that I guess, is bound to happen now.
