Despite a briliant performance by the australia umpires once again, Pakistan managed to win. It just was not their day.

Just wondering did we break the record of Sharjah thread on this one or Sharjah is still the No. 1?
Pakistani batsmen should show more confidence in their abilities. They are a far better team on paper.
Overall a good game…I couldn’t see the last two overs..thanks to Zee Tv

Younis khan reminds me of miandad…he has the same cricketing sense…other batsmen freakin paniced like a club team. Youhana, Inzi, younis and saeed make a good batting line. Maybe we should pamper Afridi and Nazir a little less. But Afridi bowled extremely well.
Congrats everyone!

Finnally Pakistan defeats Australia, Match Referees, and Match Umpires to take this series to a tie.
Really pathetic batting display by Pakistanis and great length bowling by Aussies.
Even before the pathetic batting display, Pakistan should have won the match long before scoring 100, as they knocked out the whole Australian batting lineup but with some help from the third umpire and the match umpire (australian) Aussies tend to stay alive thus making the match more interesting.
Thank god our bowlers are the best in the world, or we would have lost this match really badly, not good batting at all.
Every single decision went against Pakistan today which hints the ICC that they should completely start having neutral umpires and referees, no doubt.
Bad decision #1: Waqar Younis LBW to Jimmy Maher, should have counted but turned down by Darryl Hair whi is btw from Australia.
Bad decision #2: Damien Martyn caught by Waqar bowled by Wasim, which was idiotacally sent to 3rd umpire who is also australian btw and not given out, Martyn later on to score 53, helping Australia pass 100, Pak should have won in the 33rd over.
Bad Decision #3: Wasim Akram run out given by the 3rd umpire, did I mention he is from Australia.
Even after that the mighty Pakistanis who batted pathetically won the match, thanks to one and only Younis Khan, I have serious doubts Pakistan would win 3rd match specially with these batsmans.
Big ups to the best bowling side in the world for knocking down the best batting side in the world.
3rd match is going to beinteresting.
We can't lose stupid wickets like Saeed Anwar's or Wasim Akrams that we did today if we want to win. Next match Gilchrist and Ponting will not be losing their wickets that early. Afridi, come on man you gotta step it up. Azhar Mehmood sucks. I think Shoab Malik might fair better for us instead of Azhar Mehmood.
I guess the Australian roatation policy stung the right in their own a$$

if thats how azhar wishes to bat and bowl i think even mohammad sami wud be a good replacement for him....
sami has an edge over malik in bowling....
but anyway sami or malik, lets hope someone is clever enuff to kick out azhar....

I think Sami for Azhar. Come back Razzaq all is forgiven.
COngrats all!!!
You can’t blame Inzi he was injured but others sure they freaked out. Inzi did tried to stick around but he could not due the muscle pull or something in his right leg.
Oh Wasim, how I love thee! Thou art a god amongst us mere mortals!
well Question bhai and Umair, I agree the umpires were lil unfair and I'm sure you guys know more than me but there were some loud appeals by the Aussies at the crucial moment of the game and it was all turned down..can you guys tell how close were those calls?
from the crick info it seemed it was pretty close and I was surprise umpires not giving any of our batsmen out in such a way..
I have to admit our tailenders can bat pretty well unlike other typical tailenders.Maybe the coach and the staff emphasize them on the importance of batting..
Look at Waqar and Shaoib Akhtar..they both can hit and defend pretty well.

Andha, shaoib akher did not play in the first ODI, and u can check ur first link again to see that… And the second link is for the australian team, not the pakistani team, so check ur links before sendin them…
khiska and the others, i apologize, yesterday i started the broadcast (two of u even connected to it) but then 12 ppl came to my house to watch the match and one of them broke my DSL cable… I tried fixing it, but it came off… Today I had to get another so im really very sorry about that…
Brilliant batting display by the fighter Younis Khan, he realy kept his cool didnt he...
So many bad decisions... But I guess they were those unlucky ones, not 100% the tv-umpires fault... For eg that Waqar Younis catch, there is no way he could not have caught it otherwise the ball would have bounced pretty hard and he wouldnt have grapped hold of it with his fingertips... But the replay camera was at an elevated position which is why it looked as though the ball hit the ground...
Did you guys see what 'Tony Grieg' said when Inzi came on? He said that in Canada he saw some Indians in the crowd calling 'inzi' allo (patato) and inzi took his bat and ran after them and all of them ran away immediately... hahaha that was too fun...
Pakistan # 1... No chump can deny that now... And yes, our bowling attack, still incomplete though is the best... Azhar Mahmood came back pretty good with his last few overs after messing up... Wasim was majystic...

yah that was a very big incident in toronto canada in sahara cup..I actually saw the clip, pretty funny to see inzi going to the stand and threatened to beat indian guy up with a bat!lol but Inzi was stopped by Azharuddin and other spectators. The indian guy was constantly insulting him with a loud speaker or something..
ACtually even in Pak nobody spares him..everyone calls him alooo..heheh
