Nazir got hit by a ball from McGrath, the ball was pretty harmless except that he took it on his elbow. Then, he batted for a couple of deliveries and refused to see the physio. But eventually he relented and retired hurt. From purely a team point of view, I think it is a good thing that he's unfit. Hopefully he won't play the next one either and then Waqar will have no reason to make Anwar sit out.
Hitting centuries against Nz or Sri lanka in sharjah ,Pak or any other slow pitches doesnt really matter. It all comes down to playing against a quality team and at their venue.
If our batsmen doesnt perform well in the whole series then I serioulsy have to doubt all our "talented" batsmen..
