Nikema,

I honestly don’t know what benefit would Pakistan get by asking for a roller on day 3. If I were the captain I would want the pitch to deteriorate naturally as much as possible. Why would I roll and compact up the surface for a predictable bounce? I would rather let it dry up and crack open. no?

well heavy roller helps fast bowler for hour or two and then it restarts to deteriorate so both (seamers and spinners) can take advantage of it …
