gul over changed everything.

was i only one who didn't like who WI were cheering after every wicket? I'm going for sri lanka

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

^ Very good ambassador for cricket, so respectful of his opponents. Bravo showed his class here … pleasure listening to him

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

Bangladesh the worst ever place to host a international cricket event

Time to get rid of Phattu's like Hafeez

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

Bravo and class lulz

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

Why? because we did not win the Asia Cup or performed poorly in World T20

Agreed flood light failure (in some games) has been embarrassing but overall the tournament has been a success for BD.

BD seem to have better stadiums than us!

Where do you disagree with him? comes across as a level-headed guy

I think it is a fair assessment by Bravo that Pakistan do not handle pressure well. More often than not you would expect them to implode under pressure.

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

saeed ajmal and gul under attack now…

well Gul was and is crappy for a very long timee…poor saeed ajmal will be remembered as a chicken bowler in crunch situation..he has lost two T20s world cups for us single handily…dont blame your batting…they will never ever perform in tough situations…we all know that…real culprits are gul and ajmal…most senior bowlers and gave away almost 50 runs in 2 overs…

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

^ We can analyze and overanalyze as much as we like but the fact of the matter is our team cannot play under pressure. Hence our problems against India in World Cup games. Put them under pressure and (more often than not) they will crumble whether it is the batting or bowling. I dare say we would have crumbled even if we had been chasing 130-140. Hafeez is mentally weak and it rubs off on the other players.

On top our players lack professionalism. The attitude of guys such as Umar Akmal and Shehzad leaves a lot to be desired...

quoting NightVision above
"Yeh award main apne Kami bhai ko dedicate karta hoon ke unhon ne team main come back kia"... childish and pathetic comments to say the least. You are playing for your country not your family!

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

T20 is not cricket. No one cares I think.

Hafeez not an International level batsman. Flatters to deceive under friendly conditions. Malik?

Afridi should have been more subtle re Hafeez. You know camera is on you.

Too bad Ajmal got rocked. Its a crapshoot.

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

what do you expect from these uneducated primary school drop outs ...now i am saying this with some perspective and not out of anger.....not that other teams have phds but i have felt that our players are mentally so weak because their IQ is equal to an aam mazdoor...for last 15 years they have been coming from very very poor families and social backgrounds....it is absolutely not a crime to be poor, so please dont take dicussion to that direction

but what do you expect from them...they are absolutely not capable of any strategic thinking, driven by petty motives, and captive of cheap thinking...they have zeroi IQ.....look at the list....mohammad aamir, asif, kamran akmal, umar akmal, ahmad shezad, mohaammad hafiz...anyway a loaded topic that needs more data and thinking

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

^ No idea abt anyones background. And not trying to be PC.

Couldn't disagree more. Cricket (at least In India) has been a game for the elite class / caste. Quite frankly, they are not the most athletic. They love to bat. Couldn't bother with bowling. Forget Fielding.

Cricket needs to be democratized or socialized across all rungs of the social ladder. Phir ayega khel mein maja ( Maza)

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

We lost to India but all that was forgotten with a win against Aussies. We have short term memories when it comes to cricket. Unfortunately or fortunately it is a big gap of six months before the next match so forgetting this loss won’t come easy. All players will be under the gun including our one and only hero Ajmal. As Russell Peters says ‘somebody gonna get hurt’

Is this loss going to lead to a constructive change or a major overhaul? We are definitely going to see a lot of senior cricketers come out as saviors of Pak cricket but would there be any positive changes? Hell NO!

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

I always questioned that why every one said Pakistani bowling is No. 1 :smack2: Ajmal & Gul can’t bowl properly in pressure. They always lose their senses in pressure game.

We all know that we have fragile batting line but in this tournament our bowling was completely failed.

When Gul was getting screwed Professor should advise him to do some thing different rather standing and watching ball disappearing in stands.

Now at least we should get rid of Malik, Kamran, Gul, Kukri and Prfessor he is not a captain at all. Afridi and Moin reactions were telling many stories. Its a lesson learnt for Cricket team and management but I know nothing will happen and same stories will going on and same players will be part of the team.

re: Pakistan V Windies. H/L post#450

issue is more deeper.....why is every pakistani team so weaker mentally? to the extent that now other teams are acknowledging it as a strategic advantage and are developing their game plan against us accordingly

get rid of hafiz, gul, malik kamran akmal (and they shd be kicked out..their time is up..not hafiz by the way...he still deserve a place) and bring new players..so what....results will more or less same ...becaue they will be mentally weaker as well. is there any solution? at least think out of box
