The match has been called off, thereby ending this farce. Hopefully, we will have a better pitch at Faislabad and watch some good cricket.

The record for the opening wicket partnership stands in the name of another pair of Indian openers, Pankaj Roy and Vinoo Mankad, who had scored 413 for the first wicket against New Zealand in Chennai way back in the 1955/56 series.

Why are you getting so defensive? Indians k paas record ho na ho, its not our concern but Pakistanis did not want this world record against their name (doesnt matter if opponent is India, NZL, Nepal or Ireland)

Atleast Rana will have his tail up, for taking wicket of Sehwag.
I think it was stupid on part of Dravid to come out to bat just for sake of record in pretty bad light. The psychological advantage they had for not loosing any wicket has been dented.
