okay the scene at the start of the third day is that there has been some overnight rain and a late start is anticipated....there would be some moisture in the pitch and I think the first hour is extremely crucial....

Out of 36 Matches played in Lahore before this one, only 3 have been won by Team batting 1st and 14 by team batting 2nd. 19 were draws.Average runs per Wicket batting first is 31.6 and 37.9 batting second.At Karachi 37 Test Matches,and only 3 have been won by Team batting 1st and 17 matches to team batting second,with Pakistan winning 19 matches here and losing only one.Average 1st innings runs per Wicket are 29.8 and in 2nd innings 34.4. So for a total of 141 Matches have been played in Pakistan only 24 won by team batting 1st and 50 batting 2nd and 67 drawn,with Pakistan winning 53 and losing only 21 .

Right now, they are removing the covers, its cloudy and merky, I cannot comment on the ground condition coz they didnt show us that, I think it will be slippery near the ropes.
The block of concentration is well covered, though these are no hi-fi pitch covers that you see in Kangroo land..etc

once again small update...
its still cloudy, bleaky and merky the groundsman are using the generator cum dryer machine on the pitch to blow out the moisture.

on the other note, what has happened to GS crowd, yesterday either everyone except few :halo: were hypnotized by Afridi and Kami’s innings.
