yaar Genius,
Hiring for a specialist job is always done by selecting ppl with required knowhow and skill sets. No one is questioning Maliks credentials as a one day player or his qualities as a team player. Point here is that test cricket is all about specialist and that has been proven many a time. Afridi was neevr comfortable opening in test cricket, look where he is today. What if Malik does not perform upto the mark? Waste of time and effort when we could have tried regular openers playing the domestic circuit.
By the way, Malik battings average’s 25.2 in the domestic first class matches, that sud tell u how much potential he has as a batsman, compare that with any other regular batsman/opener and it falls in the category of all-rounders who are primarily bowlers but can bat a little bit.
Shoaib malik is not proving to be a success but the pairing in general is nto proving to be a failure either. They are passing 50 almost every time and thats refreshing.
what kind of shot was that.. Malik is again proving himself as a wrong inclusion in the team.. why do we have to keep him any way in the team.. As as far I am concerned I really dont see his place in the team at all, we have too many middle order batsmen already in the team ( with Asim Kamal sitting out side.)
He cant bowl coz of suspect action. what else we need...
khair lets ewhat happens now..
