Yaar Hum Pakistani Bohot Bayesabraye Aur Zalim Ho Jaataye Hein, When it comes to cricket and Jazbaati to say the least.
Common man, all the people against Shoaib, give him a FREAKING CHANCE. Its only his first test as an openner, you can’t expect him to pile up centuries.

I think we should go for the kill. 2-0 should be in the mind of Inzi and I tell ya, the way we bowled, we can easily say that we have the upper hand in bowling throughout this series.

we should play positive and plan a strategy to win the game… I say we’ve got a chance if we score around 270…
isn’t the wicket gonna be in our favor on day 5 … we got kaneria, afridi to do some damage… shoaib is back in full swing… it will be soo much fun watching the last day of this test if we decide to go for the win

Maybe its u who needs to get a reality check. This is professional cricket, these guys are paid professionals playing for Team Pakistan. As Pakis we deserve to have the best, not some mutated, half baked pie which has no qualification to open.
If it was a privately held company, objective wud always be to hire professionals for designated positions, best people available and make sure they earn their money. Simple as that. You will not hire a marketing guru for a finance job or electrical engineer for mechanics.
If the objective is to train players on the job, then Iam afraid there is something serioulsy flawed with the thinking, strategy and vision of th company.

fartguru... yar malik k paas bhi confidence nahi hai opening ka... give him a few games... Remember how he made his place as a one-down player in one day... He might be able to do justise with the opening position soon too..
he did play the new ball when he came one down ... so that is not the problem with his current performance.. he is cautious cuz he doesn't wana let down woolmer...
abt ur analogy... u r right... companies prefer outright professionals... but haven't we all seen how companies would rather promote their hard working ppl in a management position,, rather than hiring a new manager all together... Woolmer n the mgmt loves his work ethic and they will try their best to keep him in the team.... soo... no flaw in the system.. we are just hoping for it to work out and there is nothing wrong with it... Malik was fruitful when we promoted him to #3 in one dayers... hopefully, he will get better at opening.

Well the writing is on the wall for a draw. This pitch is as lifeless as on the first day, the commentators, journalists and CricInfo all think Pakistan will play it safe and take an unbeatable lead to Lahore.
I think if Pakistan can build on this start and don't lose more than 1 wicket till tea, we should go all out for a surprise attack. England won't be expecting it, ball will be old and the bowlers tired.
I just don't want this series to drag on till Lahore. I have a bad feeling about that. Especially with no Afridi.
