Pakistan V Bangladesh - Test and ODI series.

GOOD NEWS for all PAK-Cricket Fans

SA tour will take place

That's a competitive total. Chasing under the lights will be a goo test for our batsmen. I think we're in for a good match, and great to see an enthusiastic Rawalpindi crowd packing the stadium.

Congrats to Junaid Zia for bowling at 7.6 RR

0.2 Mashrafe Mortaza to Imran Nazir, FOUR, a little bit room outside
off, cracks it off the backfoot to backward point and gets off the
mark in style
1.2 Tapash Baisya to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR, overpitched, driven on the up to extra cover for four!

I Nazir 9 runs in 9 balls

M Hafeez 8 runs in 15 balls
pakistan 22/0 in 4.2 overs

Pakistan has moved on to 38/0 after 7 overs. Imran Nazir 23* (20) & Hafiz 9* (23).

Pak 38/1

Hafeez out for 9.

Poor shot.

Hafeez's footwork looks shaky to me. He doesn't get very far forward or back and as he's not a dominating player I think his technique should be perfect to justify selection.

Imran Nazir is looking like a million dollars today. The lad has tons of talent, he really should make the most of it and look to hit a bit more selectively - which for the most part he's been doing today.

7.6 Tapash Baisya to Yousuf Youhana, FOUR, half volley on off stump,
which is driven off the front foot in to point, elegant shot!

agreed:k:

I dont think Hafeez deserves to be in the team asan opener. He is decent all rounder who can bat a bit but I dont think we can afford someone like him to open for us. He is way to inconsistent to be a regualr opener.

Batsman Runs Balls 4’s 6’s S.Rate
I Nazir 28 23 4 0 121.74 :k:

Imran Nazir gone for 28:crying:

9.3 Tapash Baisya to Imran Nazir, OUT: a short one outside off, slog
hit went high in the air, Sarkar takes a good running catch at
cover

This Imran chap always has a good aggressive start but once he is in the 20s or 30s he used to get overconfident ...... time for someone to change his attitude and aproach

I don't know how good he is, if he can't play big against Bengladesh then what'll he do against SA?

Imran Nazir while very talented was playing very risky shots again today and eventually paid the penalty. He was nearly out twice earlier on during his innings. Doesn't seems to have learned to play with patience. He is just a better version of Afridi, which leaves Pakistan's opening problems in a total mess as Hafeez is not clicking either.

Imran is out in a similar fashion in a lot of matches. Trying to pull short deliveries from outside off stump. If he had any sense he'd just cut that shot out altogether, not many players can do that without risking their wicket.

How can I forget to appreciate bowling of Junaid Zia, 6 overs and ONLY 46 runs, isn't that great? Shabbir Ahmed was a waster already and Yasir, Jaffer, Najaf were all crap to begin with.

General's Daughter oops i mean Son (aka Junaid Zia) :

6 overs
0 maiden
46 runs
0 wickets
7.67 runs/per over
