Habibul Bashar shows Shabbir who is master!
4 4 . 4
12.4 Umar Gul to Habibul Bashar, OUT: Gone! short ball outside off,
Bashar tries to pull it, beaten by pace and gets the top edge to
third man region, Razzaq runs forward and takes a very good catch
Told you guys... I was smelling a wicket from Gul.... Way to go Gul...
Bowling O M R W
Umar Gul 7 2 9 3 (1nb, 1w)
Excellent bowling by Umar Gul!
Now that Habibul Bashar is gone... I don't think they'll cross 100 even....Unless they'll bring Junaid Zia in .... Lets c
Shabbir Ahmed (RFM) 6.1 1 33 0 5.35 (0nb, 6w) College End
A bad game for Shabbir. 6th wide, gave away 33 runs in 6.1 overs.
Junaid Zia onto attack after 12 overs.
Lets c kya marka marta hai general da putar
First over by Zia a maiden and a good over, he frequently beat the bat.
Only Umar Gul and Junaid Zia beating / disturbing the batsmen!
I think this performance will be enough to give him a guaranteed spot in next ODI ![]()
does he need any performance for a spot in the team?
That would be so un-General-son
Junaid looks a different bowler when there's some jucie in the wicket...or under lights as is the case here. Razzaq from the other end still can't get any to seam away, all of them slant in so no beating the bat like the other seamers are managing regularly today.
So far no appeals in last 10 overs.... Not a very promising bowling attack from Razzaq and Zia
Shoaib Malik, 4 wides in one over ![]()
Tigers seems to be doing well against a weak Paki's middle order bowlers... I wonder what will happen against teams like SA and AUS...
Current Partnership: 55 runs, 12.5 overs, RR: 4.29
One would have thought that Amir Sohail would know the rules of cricket after being associated with it for so long. Since Basiya took 2 wickets in 2 balls this morning he has been going on that the first ball he bowls in the next ODI will be his hattrick ball. I didnt think so and mentioned it here earlier on. He mentioned it again just now and someone corrected him that hattrick has to be in the same match and cannot be spread over two matches. This guy is a commentator, an international player and a selector, he should know better. ![]()

Well we did drop Sami in favour of Zia this morning, so he cannot be a weak bowler. :D
Hannan Sarkar on his way to first ODI 50!
Extras (lb 4, w 15, nb 1) 20
Hannan Sarkar gets his first ODI 50!
32.6 Mohammad Hafeez to Hannan Sarkar, OUT: straighter one, tries a
sweep and misses, ball hits the stumps
FINALLY!!!
Good Partnership though:
137/4 (32.6 ov); Partnership: 95 runs, 20.2 overs, RR: 4.67
