Pakistan 257/9.

A great innings by Inzi.

Should be enough to win.

They may not be enough to win but they sure are enough for the captain to hand the ball to Takla Singh...
ufff...I hate that guy so much :D

Keep the momentum going...going... :)

After Tapash Basiya took two wickets in two balls, Amir Sohail said he will be on a hattrick when he bowls in the next ODI. I thought you could acheive the hattrick in the same match only and if you take two consecutive wickets in the first innings in a test match you are on hattrick in the second innings but not in the next match. Has the rules changed or was Amir wrong? I think Amir was wrong.

Well I don't know for certain if there is a rule for this thing in the first place...
All I know of a hatrick is that the bowler has to take 3 wickets consecutively!! No mention of one day or a test

Yes he has to take 3 wickets in three balls but within the same match. It cannot be spread over two matches. It can be spread over two innings or two overs or even three as happened once, but not over two matches. That is my understanding.

Gul has done it again!!
first over and Ashraful out for a duck !!

Now this Gul guy is a bowler!! But he too should be a second line bowler...unlike our quick fast Zia

Now what kinda freaking rule is this ?
In a one day match, the offical time for switching the lights on is 6! so they can't be switched on , no matter what the condition of light is out there :o

I can't blv these stupids!
The players are out of the field waiting for the lights to be turned on

This is a no-contest. I can't see BD getting much past 150 under the lights. Might have been interesting if we had lost the toss.

:rotfl:

4.3 Umar Gul to Rajin Saleh, OUT: Caught behind! fuller length drives
and gets a thick outside edge into the hands of Kamran who takes
it well behind the stumps

Bangladesh 9/2 (5.0 ov)

:k:

9/2. Gul 2 wickets.

Delay - Power failure ...lol

They're off again for bad light. One of the floodlight towers isn't working but I think it's more a case that the ball is jagging all over the place under the lights and the Bengalis were in danger of getting some good style jootiyaN so they used the light as an excuse. If they come back out with all the lights working they are still going to get a hiding though. They better hope the engineers can't fix it.

Btw, if Zia can't take wickets today under the lights he might as well forget about it, even his dad won't be able to make a case for him.

Players coming off because one light tower has gone off
:smack:

Play resumes, I thot it was only Karachi having "load shedding" :D

8.6 Umar Gul to Habibul Bashar, no run, fuller ball, Bashar goes for a
big drive and gets beaten
8.5 Umar Gul to Habibul Bashar, no run, driven to point
8.4 Umar Gul to Habibul Bashar, no run, short, tries to cut and gets a
bottom edge
8.3 Umar Gul to Habibul Bashar, no run, again rapped on pads, shout for
lbw, umpire says no
8.2 Umar Gul to Habibul Bashar, no run, on the pads again, Gul appeals
but no luck, was a very good shout
8.1 Umar Gul to Habibul Bashar, no run, plays and misses outside off

I smell another wicket from Gul

Look at Gul’s bowling :

Umar Gul (RFM) 5 2 5 2 1.00 (0nb, 1w) Pavilion End

:k: I hope he can keep his performance like this against SA and AUS.

Bengladesh target 244 in 44 overs instead of 258 in 50 overs??
