I think what our idiot selectors have this ideology set in mind. If you are old, you are not considered, even if you are the best bowler in England and single handedly taking his team Sussex to County Championship this season.
i think the selectors can't win no matter what. if they had taken a veteran side with saeed, waqar, afridi and others, we'd say that they don't give the youngsters a chance. now that they've given the youngsters a chance, we're second guessing them. don't forget that though bangladesh were trounced by the aussies, it gave them ample experience against the best team in the world.
additionally, i'm surprised that the board has let the players treat the team as secondary to their other obligations. yes bangladesh is a weak side but for players like sami and shoaib, this is where records are made. look at our greats' records against the likes of SL and NZ.
finally, bangladesh will win tomorrow, that much is a given. what is pathetic is that we insist on playing our home matches like away ones. why isn't the pitch prepared to suit our strengths and why don't we pick teams to match that? instead, we don't allow any team building to take place and rely on replacement parts. no cohesiveness can exist in this manner. it's a shameful day for pakistani cricket tomorrow. On our Defense Day, our cricket team will lie defenseless. And on September 7, the Bengali government will declare a day of celebration. Pathetic indeed.
Just hit the ball harder tomorrow than the batsman himself can imagine to win this match!
113 runs required...4 wickets remaining...everyone should contribute ±30 runs. We are done! :)

Don't forget that players who were VERY SUCCESSFUL in county could not perform anything of significance on international scene even if they had lots of experience i.e. very recently Azhar Mehmood !!
Regardless of what happened tomorrow, we have already lost the match, so much of finishing early (Rashid Latif’s comments).
PCB must get their act together and come up with a more competitive team. Domestic Cricket so far has failed to produce a solid batsman, and those who really deserve to me in the National Squad are being over looked by PCB. Why Hasan Raza & Saeed bin Nazir has been ignored? In recent tournaments Misbah was part of the squad but was not given a chance to play why?

Bro earthquake, everybody is being given chances, I'm sure they'll get their chances later on... when our seniors (the ones in team) are failing what guarantees that Saeed bin Nasir or Hasan Raza or Misbah would have turned the table?
YOU MUST BE AAMIR SOHAIL’S FAN… ![]()
This kind of crap only happened in Pakistan, if senior player are not playing up to the standard then they should be kicked out but PCB kicked out those who really deserved to me in the team. Where is Saeed Anwar, Waqar Younis & Wasim Akram? Saeed Anwar was the most consistent player through out the history of Pakistan cricket and he was the only batsman was kicked out from Pakistan squad. Aamir Sohail must hold some kind of grudge against him. Why would you kick out the most talented & consistent player from the team, Why?
Does this kind of crap happened in Australia or England?

I am no "fan" of Amir Sohail and I don't like the fact the Saeed is not in team, Wasim should have retired gracefully and Waqar should have given up captaincy but they opted not. Everybody was almost expecting Wasim to do it but unfortunately he didn't.
If they had "kicked" out senior players and lost all the matches, would you be happy? I can bet that you wouldn't and the complaint would have been "class is permanent, form is temporary". Just support the team, I'm sure once they finalize the smaller squad we'll have much stronger team which everyone will be proud of. Pakistan Zindabad.
Tauba Tauba Astaghfarullah…All these Bengali’s were talking crap to Pakistani’s at school…

**PCB denies claims of discrimination **
MULTAN, Sept 4: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday denied Bangladesh team’s claims of being discriminated against, during the current tour after the visitor’s coach Dav Whatmore complained of improper flight arrangements reported in a Bangladesh newspaper.
Whatmore had said in an interview to an English Bangladesh newspaper Daily Star that his team was forced to travel in Economy Class on PIA flight PK-385 while Pakistani team was in Executive Class from Islamabad to Multan on Monday.
The PCB spokesman clarified that **there was no Executive Class in the said flight as claimed by Mr Whatmore. The fact is that Pakistan team was in Economy Plus while the visitors were in Economy Class because the aircraft on this sector was a small one. There is no difference between the two classes but for extra baggage allowance.
As per regulations of the ICC, travel on international flights have to be in Business Class while the domestic flights have to be in Economy Class. **
In his interview, also carried by a website, Whatmore was quoted as saying. “This is not a good gesture. If there was any problem, the home team should have taken the Economy Class and offered the Executive Class to the Bangladesh team. I have never seen anything like this in my life.”
I totally agree with Dave here. This is normal counrtsy. PCB should take care of this in future ,it reflect poorly on them.

As I said Guest should be given better class.
If they demend why they were not given Excutive class when there is not one ,then they are stupid.

Yeah, and you were agreeing to them earlier, which proves you are stupid as well.
All is not lost, Saqi has a test century to his credit and can play well ,and Inzi may just play enough for us to win
But the fact remains that the serious issues we have with batting must be adressed
**
59.2 Khaled Mahmud to Saqlain Mushtaq, OUT: Gone! well outside off,
swings a bit away from the right hander, plays away from the body,
gets a big edge in the hand of Khaled Mashud behind the stumps,
Bangladesh now 3 wickets away from their 1st test victory
Pakistan 164/7, Partnership of 32
Saqlain Mushtaq c Khaled Mashud b Khaled Mahmud 11 (51b 1x4 0x6)
Inzamam-ul-Haq 61* (121b 8x4) Khaled Mahmud 16.2-6-34-3
**
saqlain should have left it. there are more than 180+ overs to play and only needed 100 runs. one run / over was enough but oh well these ppl will never learn.
Pakistan require another 97 runs with 3 wickets remaining
:~)
**
59.5 Khaled Mahmud to Shabbir Ahmed, three runs, fuller length ball
outside off, off the edge in slip, dropped by Sarkar in 2nd slip,
ball races away to third man boundary but well chase by keeper
andsave one run for his team
**
:~)
3 wickets remaining...94 runs needed...each ±30 runs and we done! :) Cmo'n guys...
