Danish Kaneria was really disappointing today, the wicket suited his bowling but he just didnt bowl well, time to bring the old wily mushy saab back IF Danish doesnt perform in remaining matches.
Shoaib bowled his heart out today, without much luck. I still think we will win this match confortably :) insha'allah must be added though :D
It would turn into a lovely series if Pakistan loses this test match. Let's see. BD is returning from Australian tour and comparatively speaking, their confidence must be way high.
fg, I don't see anything lovely about losing to BD. Although I am happy for the bengalis that they have shown some spirit, I think this is more due to the lack of application by the Pakistan team. Only Shoaib bowled with any meanace today and he was let down in the field. Senior batsmen like Youhanna and Inzimam failed to shaow any authority with the bat and were upstaged by a youngster making his test debut. We seem to be the only team that makes BD look good. They get royally thrashed by everybody else.
Someone here was complaining about Hafeez's bowling? Have you looked at the numbers yet, at least for this match?

I don't know when can we find a decent, consistent (relatively) opening pair and stop relying one occasional random individual performances. If it were not for Yasir, many Pakistanis would have quit following cricket.

Sad performance by Pakistan, the result of this match will be a very close, for Bangladesh to set up a target for Pakistan to chase, it should be somewhere around 350+, and they are guarenteed a victory, no matter who is the opposition, they can't chase.

iss mein kiss batt pe khuda ka khauf? was there any effort shown by pakistani batting / bowling to contain bengalis? if you want to win you have to be better than wht you have done so far but sadly pakistan hasn't learned anything and are now in this sorry-situation. if bengladesh manage to have a lead of 250+ then definately either pakistan will lose chasing or will end up with a lame draw. either way, its a defeat for pakistan against a team like bangladesh who will come out winners :~)

umm Umair 350 + is way too much. They wont be able to score that much but yes lead of even 250 plus will press pakistan hard fopr victory.
Once again Pakistans hopes lie with Shoaib's early strikes tomorrow morning.

I must say, both my favorite bowlers Shoaib and Kaneria have been utterly dissappointing so far.
^^ yaar i tink Shoaib has bowled really well without luck. He tried his best, had catched dropped off him and close lbw shouts.
Kaneria yes was way disappointing, he never looked penetrating one bit except for one last over in which he past the bat on two ocassions. Hopefully he will turn it on tomorrow.

yar pitch has really flattned out:( no help whatsoever for the seamers. Though spinners definitely can benefit.
I think Pakistan is either gonna lose this match or its gonna be a draw...as much as I hate to say this, but I believe its out of Pakistan's reach now...:(:(
yaar i went to stadium on the very first day of the match and paki's bowled pretty well. I mean all fun we had was teasing the bangladeshi's camp... My seat was just beside them so had alot of fun.... who was also there in FIRST day?:S
