Pakistan V Bangladesh - Test and ODI series.

Hard to understand these lame tactics from Rashid Latif... you dont play that slow with the tail on... they are not trained to stay a very long time on the wicket... some hitting should be done, as opposed to playing slow and giving more confidence to the bowlers.

Well its a test match...Rashid is doing the right thing by staying at the crease as long he can. The tail-enders should just play defensively instead of trying to hit the ball out of the ground.

Danish Kaneria, OUT Pakistan 338/9

PCB must include Shoaib Malik & Saeed bin Nazir in next test match.....

116.6 Mohammad Rafique to Rashid Latif, no run, turned to square leg and
run for a quick single, direct hit from Saleh, Gul looks like in
trouble, third umpire called
116.5 Mohammad Rafique to Rashid Latif, FOUR, rushed out of his crease
and hits it powerfully to deep mid wicket boundary
116.4 Mohammad Rafique to Rashid Latif, FOUR, faster one outside off,
opens the cae of blade towards third man boundary that's 50 for
Rashid
116.3 Mohammad Rafique to Rashid Latif, no run, tosses up, struck firmly
in the air back to bowler, dropped!

keep it up rashid...a few more!!

congratulate to Rashid Latif on his 50

gul run out…:mad2: stupid gul! :mad2:

Pakistan all out @ 346

So much for occupying the crease and playing painfully slow... what "teer" did he "maar" by doing so? a few lusty blows at the end go a long way when the tail is around... seems like Rashid woke up by hitting 2 fours, but this was the case of too little, too late... I feel Pak should have scored atleast 30-40 more runs had they played a bit faster.

Pathetic batting by the Pakistani team exept for Yasir Hameed, Rashid Latif and to some extent, Youhana. Other than that, the team failed, and Inzamam once again got out on 0.

The opening still remains a big problem for Pakistan. I think Hafeez has no place in the Pakistan test team. He is a good all-rounder but only in ODI's. He is a useless bowler in tests and his batting is nothing great either. I think Farhan Adil should be given a chance in the next test match.

I just hope Pakistan doesn't end up losing this test match :(

We shouldn’t even count on Umer, if our batsmen play like they suppose to..we should have had a decent target for Bengali team. I mean we are playing the worst team in the world and we still could not put up a decent target for them, damn shame on PCB

PCB should have thought about this, Hafeez & Tufeeq can’t do it; opening pair must put up a good score to prevent pressure on the middle order batsman. Our opening pair hasn’t done a decent job since the departure of Saeed Anwar from International cricket.

After seeing this pathetic performance by Pakistani batsman (except Yasir Hameed), I think PCB must bring back Shoaib Malik, maybe try Yasir on slot 2nd and Shoaib Malik on 1st or 5th with Saeed bin Nazir coming @ 3 and Inzi @ 4……………

Don’t blame Umer Gull, We shouldn’t even count on Umer, he is not a batsman, even if he can score couple of runs what difference does it make.

End of over 3 (maiden) Bangladesh 6/0 (trail by 52 runs)
Shoaib Akhtar 2-2-0-0 - Pavilion End
Javed Omar 6* (6b 1x4) Hannan Sarkar 0* (12b)

I have seen him bat, and his footwork and style are definitely high class. **I know such comparisons are way too early, but his style and confidence do remind one of Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar. *

That's very misleading, he plays nothing like Tendulkar, he's not in the same league. Tendulkar can do anything he likes with the bowlers and there's very few batsmen in the world who can do that.

Yaasir is a great prospect though, with shots all round the wicket, good technique and he bats with authority. His footwork is very decisive and he gets a long way forward. Definitely the best of the youngsters introduced so far.

As far as this match is concerned, there's nothing in this pitch for the bowlers, only Shoaib or Kaneria look like they can pose any threat to the batsmen. Pakistan's batting effort was woeful, take away Hameed's 170 and the res of them mustered only another 176 runs against the worst bowling attack in test cricket on a dead pitch. Total sh*te.

Bangladesh 78/2

Akhtar and Hafeez have taken one wicket each and both have been LBW.

Currently batting:

H Bashar - 30 from 59 balls

S. Hossain - 1 from 11 balls

Bangladesh lead by 21 runs with 8 wickets remainin

if we get a target of 250+ we r definitely in deep deep trouble.... :(

Bangladesh 288 & 131/3 (42.4 ov)
Pakistan 346

Bangladesh lead by 73 runs with 7 wickets remaining.... this is very frightening....

Pakistani batsmen have batted pathetically and Bangladeshi batsmen did the opposite. I know its too early to say but its good for this yougn team to play tough first test match. Insha'allah we will win this match :)

Bangladesh is 146/3. Another half century from Bashr, this time a more sensible one. Bashr 71* & Saleh 21*. The way Bashr is playing, he might be headig for his first test century.

Latest score. 163/3. Bashr 82*. Saleh 27*.

Wasim and waqar bhai ..weee misshhhh youui...
