agreed...they need to work hard in nets and bowl to a plan...not just random bowling....they must go in against every team and Gul and Tanvir or whomever Razaq / arafat must be told of a plan against each opposing team player. They must bowl to their weakness not the strength... maintaining line and length is a basic always. but some may be strong on off...then keep it middle and leg...other like most are strong on side players, then keep it on off and with away swing as the target or yorking them at off / middle..
if you can't bowl yorkers then just keep it tidy ...the wicket will come from the batsmens mistake..which are a plenty in T20s..

waqar mentioned many items that gul is mentally not very strong... and cant pull himself together when he is being hit all over the ground ...
but i think it is more than mental chaos now....i think he is physically weak too...remember it takes a lot out of you when you bowl a good decent yorker length ball...a lot of stress on your back as well .... back in 08/09 time frame i used to think why gul is so patehtic in ODIs and test matches and why most of his yorker length balls end up half volleys but he is so good in T20s and realized that he can sustain the rigor of bowling yorker length balls for a very short period of time..maby be 8 or 10 balls with full force and concentration and that was perfect for T20s....now it seems that he is not even good enough for T20s....so in my opinion that is where the problem is. he needs to sort it out and realign his bowling with his stamina/strengths

First of all congrats to Pakistani friends.
Now, i have noticed that since last few matches it is the underdog pakistani batting which is winning the games for pakistan. It was supposed to be other way around. While pakistan is still winning games , they will have to really keep an eye on their much touted bowling attack. If today's match was with a better bowling side then i think pak would have had harder time winning this one.
Our group is a tough one, alone bowling or batting wont cut it. To meet head on with the likes of SA or Aus we will have to do better in those two depts AND the fielding.
hope atleast one of the SC teams qualifies to the next round.
Congrats again, and hard luck BD. you really fought hard but you are not in the same league yet.

In the next round other teams will use the same strategy of attacking Pakistani bowlers early on, which will put more pressure on the spinners. Hopefully our (so called) pacers will bowl better in the next round.
