I am getting a bad feeling here that Butt is not even looking for singles of Huritz from his last few overs JUST SO that he doesnt have to face MJ at other end.....Sad, Purely sad!
If it were a team game then butt (knowing that Faisal can be +ive against spinners) would have been trying to give faisal strike against spinner....But, BUTT only plays for himself, not for team and most certainly not for his partner!

Butt is playing decent if you ask me. As long he is not throwing away his wicket. Yes he is playing scared and very defensive but this is not a twenty20 or an ODI. Take your time and build your innings. We are known for giving away cheap wickets. Securing wickets is more important than run rate in this inning.

^^I agree. Folks here are too hard on Butt, IMO. I think he is someone Pak needs to persist with long term. Here today, he is doing exactly what he needs to do.
As I write this, he goes. Still, you need to stick with him, he will do you good.
Even Watson is making the ball reverse...swing both ways while our supposed 'reverse swing experts' couldnt even swing it once.
Among our current crop, Butt is the best option we have for 'ONE' of the opening positions.. we need to continue looking for the second one, but the management has to realize that we cannot have number 1, 2, AND 3 ALL be occupied by unstable, struggling players. Yousuf (and Younis) have to bat up and provide stability up the order and let go of the Inzi mentality who came up with the idea of keep all the senior players in the lower middle order so they can battle early collapses. How about not having collapses at the top to begin with!

wow great what a great innings by yousuf........when ever team needs him he disappoints......i still dont understand the pitch is a pure batting pitch ....but still out batsman could not score tuns on this pitch...even haurtiz scored 70 odd runs how pathetic.........no one can save us from loss now

well another point is that our bowlers amir and asif didnt reversed swing the ball ....while watson was doing it ....
