Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
You meant to say abilities like human being. They have more free will than human.
Examples of animals/birds etc. to justify what human do or want to do is incorrect approach.

Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
com on people.. there are sex experts in pakistan…haven’t you seen choona-zada ads in pak on the walls, ‘mardana kamzori ka ilaaj’..‘shaadi ka manzar, shaadi kay baad kia ho ga’ (ok that second was just tongue in cheek for mot ka manzar, marnay kay baad kia ho ga) but pak is full of sex remedies and invigorating kushta baddaam totkays from local hakeems..the only thing pakistanis need to do is actually have lesser sex considering overpopulation and poverty…we should use examples like how prophet Mohammad didn’t have lots of kids so you shouldn’t either…put a sunnat to good work for a change.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
Birds and bees do not have to deal with issues like human such as STIs and EDs. Humans do & humans are one of the few species on planet (along with bonobos and some other species of monkeys) that have sex of pleasure…everything else does it for procreation.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
If that is what you think, then I don’t have anything else to say.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
First step should be sex education in school.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
I thought Pakistan did have sex education in school?
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
And dolphins!
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
hmm I always thought dolphins have sex with their voices
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
Sorry but that’s far from the truth. There are plenty of perverted men and women in the country and incidents do happen. The cheap thinking prevails still. Misogyny is rampant
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
^ agree. Pakistan is a sexually frustrated country … Let me remind everyone that pakistan or ‘Pornistan’ …is the world’s leader in online searches for pornographic material. Mind set of the people and the way they interact needs to be changed if we want to fix this problem
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
Not sure what you guyz are talking about! Ok lets generalize for some time. You think other nations are not pervert etc? Lets talk about Arabs. You think they are anywaz better? lmfao. How many examples you want? Same sex trend, opposite sex or third sex? Isnt this nation full of everything here? I’ll be happy to give examples that I know of if you want but you should hear that all.
Ok lets talk about Indians… Guess who’s the top in rape incidents? :halo: Want me to give narrate some examples or quotes here? They’ll eat a woman if they get a chance
And wait, I’m not done yet. Why not discuss the west. You think west doesnt have any issues like that? Who tops in the world in incest events.. Is it Pakistan? no right here. And you think rape etc doesnt happen here? They talk about sex openly but still so many rapes and harassment. Only in Europe In 2008, the incidence of rapes recorded by the police was 26.3 per 100,000 people.
And we think Pakistan is the pervert nation.. Geez!!
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
since everyone and his/her family is different, you can’t have a set of rules that determine what topics/issues should or should not be taboo for that particular family. a taboo topic for one family is a normal thing for another family depending on the level of their religious and/or cultural inhibitions.
i’ve a simple rule:
if you can’t discuss the subject/topic/issues with your mother/sister/brothers in a conservative society then it should be regarded as a taboo within that society.
as far Pakistani and Indian families are concerned, both are conservative societies with religious and cultural values. whats wrong is wrong. we can’t force it on others.
We do, but poster meant education through qualified instructors, and not through the fellow students
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
If these call-in programs are of any use, most of Pakistani women would have been wonderful cooks (specially of Chinese food) but unfortunately that’s not true.
Let me guess it might be a PAID program…u know company ki mashOOri k leyee.
Freedom is to have a right to speak about anything and everything but sanity and aqalmandi is not to speak about anything and everything. Discussing sex health issues “on live tv” wont put us among free (or developed) nations. Let alone live TV, you cant even discuss it with every tom, dick and harry doctor. You have to be in your comfort zone with the doctor to discuss your issues.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
Pakistani people have been limited to porn as sex education (about 10% of the population has Internet access btw). That is not where people should be learning anything but people are so tight lipped that there is zero communication. Not even from mother to daughter or father to son or even from doctors. And then that stems up so many misunderstandings and problems. Some women don’t even know sex isn’t supposed to hurt or that stds can kill you or what gets you pregnant.
A TV show is a meh way to get information going but I honestly cannot think of any other medium that women can access without embarrassment.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
First you used examples of birds and bees to justify what human should do like discussing this topic on TV.
Now you are saying birds and bees are different by other means like not have to deal with what comes mostly after irresponsible, carefree, promiscuous sex by human being.
I have no idea how do you know birds and bees do /do not have issues of ED? ![]()
P.S. More to come later.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
That is the beauty of free markets. If it don’t interest you, don’t tune in. Whether it be same-sex trend, opposite sex or third sex.

Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
Although I do not disagree with the sexually frustrated part of your post, but google search statistics for Pakistan are misleading. They just show how ‘unsophisticated’ Pakistanis are when searching for pornography and only use the few common words they know as search terms.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
Sex related problems cannot be solved by TV programs.
All they do is give a pathway to have people fulfill their hidden desires. Mere 'chaskaray baazi".
If someone has problem, there are many private ways to obtain help.
STD’s are tell-tale signs of promiscuity. Promiscuity should be opposed first.
Every nation has people who are frustrated, sex deprived. It is a myth that sex deprivation is not present in so called sexually liberated places.
Re: Pakistan sex taboos challenged by TV phone-in show
How many private ways to help are available in desi countries? That would be a good resource to share with folks living there.
Looks like we have a solution.
