We have Indus but I hardly watch it. i have seen some ads for this sangeet icon. has this show already started? is it only coming to the audience in pakistan? can someone tell me more about it.

I was about to open a thread on this but you beat me to it. 
I saw the show today for the first time. I have to agree with Cadet here. Some of the singers are really good. I specially liked the guy who sang “tere bin nai jeena”, he did an amazing job.

I started watching it recently too and it is such a relief after watching the now-boring Saregamapa type shows. Saturday's epi is the elimination epi and Sunday they sing again. So it comes on twice. I know on Sundays it comes at 8 pm Eastern. On Saturday it comes on sometime in the afternoon.

this show is so bukwaaz.. i meen sorrie buh lekin dere is no sur sangeet in this .. and have u noticed our so called judges dnt even speak abt how dey sing lyke ur high pitch was dis or u didnt tone it up heer aisa toh kuch bolna hi nai hai.. dey jus sit dere lyke u noe pataa nai kaun hain n dey jus comment on how ppl look n u sanged it better den abrar . or junoon ..
meekal hassan on da last show had said to that roop girl apki har cheez A1 hai expect ur music? den why is she styll heer n wat type of a comment is this?

I think it is a good effort by Indus to do Something rather than Nothing. Otherwise we'll end up seeing a lot of these young folks on Indian reality tv competitions :-p

lol ur right i meen dey did make a effort lekin rukhsarbibi effort ho toh phir bhi koi kaam ka toh ho dis is jus so lame n dead
assad abbas and mohummad ayaz are the best. some how the excitement is missing from this show. i dont really like the hosts or judges either...they always have the same comments. but i do try to watch it regularly

I have only watched that one show so can't say much at the moment. It doesn't look like that many people are watching it though.
I agree that some of the performances were pathetic, can’t believe they made this far but it’s not pure bakwaas, listen to this and tell me what’s wrong with this performance

Add Ali Asad, Haroon Rashid and Sohaib Hasan to the list as well.
Haroon is superb in pop/Rock singing.
Search for "Best of Pak Sangeet Icon Season 1" on Youtube and watch some very good performances.

Ahmed Jehanzaib was much better, other 2 are good but that Pappu guy is total waste of space and should be kicked out immidiately.
haroon was a good singer.. and recently he just got out
