maybe she is a rich lady by inheritance, her hardwork, etc etc and not necesairly by hera pheri. Why such a fuss over her expensive accesories as long as she is doing a good job?.. i don’t see a problem with well dressed, well turned out people and yah hard to believe but politicans are people 2 .

Apparently being socially conscious and sensitive to the plight of the average Pakistani is beyond the grasp of the monied elite and the politicians in Pakistan.

Aren't politicians supposes to be civic-minded?

Now THIS is a very valid point. It makes sense but at the same time i would say as long as these people do their job well, we shouldnt stress so much on these issues. But the point is when they are not doing their job well and at the same time living a lavish life, it does make you think how the hell they end up in such positions. That is sad.

I wouldnt take offense to it because it's not important to be aware of designer brands if one doesnt want to. But what you wrote said more about you as a person and less about what Pakistanis know or don't do.

What? What does it tell about me? I'm a middle class Pakistani and know what sort of people are aware and give value to the designer brands and what sort of don't. 70% of Pakistanis don't even live in towns, they live in rural areas without any shopping malls.

there is a way to wear brands without looking tacky. anything monogrammed or with logos (such as LV, Fendi, etc everywhere) looks like you're trying to hard.

That's why I think I'd never buy a brand with logo showing, that's just so on your face type of thing. For models and actresses it's okay but for others it's just OTT.

From a fashion point of view, I think she's pretty and her outfit is quite nice.

From every other POV, I think its in bad taste to carry around a bag that's worth more than multiple people's yearly income. But hey....thats a Pakistani politician for ya.

From a fashion point of view, I think she's pretty and her outfit is quite nice.

i wud say if she bought all the expensive accessories with her own hard earned money then it's fine and fair BUT if she bought it with tax-payers' money OR with money obtained thru corruption, then it's shameful and worth condemnation...both male and female politicians. :)

i thought its bikini too lol par samaj nahi arahi thi ke kaprey to sahi pehney hue hain to bikini kahan se sab ko nazar ari hai lol:D...and i need to confess lol i so didnt know what birkin is! even though i knew hermes but not this...tauba hai yeh brands and inke chonchlay! is the bag made with gold or sumthing for being that expensive!
