Pakistan is not the Pak military. Pakistan is the people of Pakistan. They are the owners of their respective land whatever the province. What we have done in Pakistan Iam sorry to say was unthinkable. I mean I used to take pride that it is other nations like India who use force and state sponsored militarism to control their territory or expand it. Nothing so blatantly had happened in Pakistan. The result is our Indian frieinds everywhere mocking us and using the well fitted tu quoque s on us. An embarrassing shut-up call. Atleast still we may argue that it wasn’t an elected body which did this to us.

Have you read anything about the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s?

Tell me. I have an idea, but just lay out a little bit for me. I kmnow about rangers in khi during MQM-govt. showdown. If I were there or was old enough, you betcha I'd be right here protesting the excesses committed. But I wasn't. I am not a Balochi either. But I do feel for them. That is what being a Pakistani should mean. Not like Afghanistan with endemic hate politics and apni apnon ki rakhwaliu or like in India even.

I agree Pakistani nation and its people are resilient individuals. I know for a fact that Pakistanis, given a chance, will educate themselves - Education is valued highly.

Even under present conditions, Pakistan is teeming with potential energy held back by 19th century rules and barricades that dont work well with 21st century technology and methods.

However it is still my opinion that the looting, shooting and utter depravity Pakistan is suffering right now is the result of their feudal character. They still operate on a "Takhur and Servant" bases. This wont do because it provides a few with alot of wealth. The wealth is concentrated, and money is not circulated. When money is not being circulated, peoples demands are not being met and sales tax and other taxes are not being delivered to the nation.

Hence it is bust due to circumstance created by Pakistani hands.

But if your going to use this as a some kind of trump card and tout it as an accomplishment to distract people from the problems faced by Pakistan, then you have to try alot harder...

I just find it naive to think that when the country is burning and sinking, you stubbornly point to things like cell phones as some kind of great achievmnet..

Maybe if your lucky, the only thing left floating after the country sinks, is Mushraf and millions of Cell phones...
