how is musharraf not elected, he has just been elected with 57% majoirty from the parliment, again please wake up. he has acted within the constituition all the time,
the leaders of the 90s had destoryed all checks and balances, destoryed the judicary, so how where they not dictators?

this shows that musharraf is the savior of democracy in pakistan and is the only one serious about bringing it.
Democracy works by allowing the people to decide who will be PM... Whoever the people decide is fine with me... If the want PML, then thats fine, if PPP, then thats fine... No problem.
Demcoracy produces leader, it creates consensus...
It not perfect, but in the long run, it produces cohesion and stability...
Dictatoship produces animosity, it produces nothing but instability...
Its been proven everywhere in the world.
Mush isnt president because he wasnt cleared by the Supreme Court... Mush declared emergency, but he didnt have the authority to do so because he wasnt the president at the time.. As COAS he carrieed our another coup, but that still means his rule is illigitimate.
So Musharaf is NOT the President... The Supreme Court tht he brought in was through unconstitutional means and hence the Mush sponsored SC is also illigitimate.
So Mush I NOT the President.. Technically speaking, he holds no public office currently.
The 90's werent a fair time for the elected govts... The had many things working against them... But just because the 90's are seen as unsuccesful, doesnt mean you give up on Democracy...
Pakistan can NOT survive as a dictatorship... The only course is true democracy with whatever faults it has... Bring back the true CJ, lift curbs on media, have Mush step down and elect a new govt through free, fair anf transparent elections run by and an independant EC.
Mush gave the media freedom because it served his intrest... You cant give someone a present and the vindictively take it back the way he has... It exposed his true face, that all...
Before he was a smart dictator, now he is an out and out obvious dictator...
Besides, media freedom is a right, not a privlige... Its not for Mush to give, it a right given by the constitution...
