8-9 hours i said is what being offered currently and before when this new train was launched it was 140KM/hour. ran by the name korakoram express, from karachi its started at 4pm and its arrival time in lahore was 9am, although what i heard it used tobe late.

i didnt travel till lahore in it but within sindh province but for us it was great from karachi to Rohri/sukkur 5.5-6 hours including one stop total distance around 500 kms

I think it is not correct. The main track can only sustain 120 kph which is 75 mph. Due to number of speed restrictions the ave speed comes not more that 45-50 mph. According to your estimate 500 kms is 312 miles when divided by 6 hours will give you 312/6=52 mph. One kilometer is 5/8 of a mile. Correct your estimates/mathematics.:)
