Thanks, didn’t know they were expensive for middle class families. Guess I’m used to the system here in the US where the newspapers are affordable. I’ve got another question. I’ve heard of Nawai Waqt, is that the same type of Urdu newspaper you were talking about?

Jang, Nawai Waqt r morning urdu newspapers. Right wing type. But not very salacious.

You would be surprised to know that Jang Publications (the biggest news/media Org) have one urdu newspaper (http://jang.com.pk/jang) and english newspaper The News (http://jang.com.pk/thenews), and the Urdu version is more right wing than the English version. It just goes to show that English newspaper reading audience is much more liberal than the urdu newspaper audience.
