Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

It is insulting, but with the way Mush has gone beyond just 'co-operation' and has become a virtual American stooge, it is hard to argue.

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

i hope WP aplogizes for this. the US govt should take note.
after all, if angry, it will only take a wireless msg from a Pak Lt Gen to snipe down limited US troops in the western areas and say "o oh it was AlQaeda!" the US should know better. a blind man needs a guide, he can have a person or a dog, if he wants a 'dog', the dog can bite him and run away too (no offense to the canine community), if he wants a valued friend, the friendship can go a long way. sure Pakistan may have been on the knees many times, being too flexible, but the US too needs us! it's not completely one sided, why would they be showering their blesing on us every now and then for no reason...?

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

Typical US libertarian journalistic instincts with a touch of racial bias, stirred gently with anti-muslim propaganda and chilled with guilt of white man…

What these guys dont realize or care to understand is how delicate Mush position is in the land of Pure. Cartoons like these have a much lasting image which will be detrimental to Pak-US initiatives in Wana their war against terror and of course send Pakistan further down the road of anti-west, increased radicalization and comfort to thosw who have always maintained that US is Shaitan e Azeem.

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

haha, even the americans know what the truth of the relationship with pakistan is...pakistan is a dog of US.......but pakistanis are in a state of denial..they think they are the masters of the universe and are sharing their position with america with equal status

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

No chest beating with happiness ,..buddy,

Pakistan has almost 50 years of experience with US,…You guyz are just introduced ,…Good luck to you guyz,…you guyz gonna need it down the road,…

BTW,

**DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE NAME OF GEORGE BUSH’s DOG **???

Guessssssssssss

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

If you took your head out of your @ss you wud be able to see the real world…

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

I can't tell from the cartoon which breed the dog is? Does anyone know?

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

Call George Bush and ask him,..why He named his DOG,..India,...may be he can tell you the breed of that Dog too…

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

Good pedigree, strong shoulders, intelligent, loyal, disciplined, clean and very handsome. So we definately can rule out Indian…most probably from the better places of this world…

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

But the tail looks like a rat’s tail? Is the cartoonist trying to send a message?

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

^Yes to India that,…stop rats from an extinction in India,…You guyz,..still not getting the message,…do you ?

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

HZ,

If PA snipes at US Army across the border, then the USAF can also "mistakenly" drop JDAMs on PA positons. Afterall, USAF in known for "friendly fire".

The official praise by the US is because they know that Pakistani leaders value that more than anything else. In fact even Indian leaders have figured out that if you give tareef to Mush, he will say anything to please you.

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

Mr. Zuberi, I don’t agree with you at all…
have you ever seen a friendship of a chooha and a haathi?
What you call ‘blessings’ of the United States of America, they think ‘throwing haddi’ before us.
America and Pakistan, Western World and Muslims or Islam and Christians cannot be friends to each other.
Pakistan might be trying to be a friend to America and Musharraf might show his utmost loyalty by handing over extremists one by one but America considers all those cooperations it as “it’s right” as the super power and the richest country of the world.

Tell me one EXAMPLE of America’s last 100 years history where America has been a friend, faithfull ally or sincere to any country or individual on the planet ( Europe, Israel and other developed countries are excepted ).

Secondly, Pakistan does not have a choice, if Pakistan does not bow to it’s knees, America would break it’s both legs!

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

Talwar,

As I asked before,…“** Do you know the name of President Bush’s Dog **”

Its Called INDIA,…

Washington Times is a conservative( right wing ) paper,…Therefore, crying over these things is useless,…Here papers are not controlled by US govt,…they even make fun of their own democratic foes,…which is worse than this cartoon,…fiasco…

Couple of years ago,…INDIA was furious over same dog fiasco that why President Bush named his Dog,…**INDIA **…

US cares about it intersets only,…If anybody thinks its for real and long term,..then they are dead wrong,…India just introduced to US a decade ago now,…** I think India gonna need a lot of Luck and prayers,…**

As US says,…we don’t want to own the country,..we just want to own their banks,…Just see how long it takes,…This new version of East India company to repeat the history…

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

I can’t tell if it is a male dog or a bitch? I don’t se the veve, so must be a bitch.

Dog doesn’t have the sort of negative connotation attached to it in the West as it does in Pakistan. This cartoon is simply showing Pakistan as a trusted (and reliable) friend. Don’t be so darn sensitive. Seeing some of the Pakis running this site, I won’t be surprised if Gen Mushy is yelling on the phone asking Condi Rice to ‘Ban’ the Editor.

:jhanda:

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

I like dogs..they are faithful..easy to please and can be made ot do anything for snausages. Good boy! now go fetch… :smash:

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon

Re: Pakistan protests at derogatory cartoon
