Ok, one thing I want to clarify. I am not putting Pakistan down. The thread is about Pakistanis and not Pakistan. There is a difference. I love my country but if we have a weakness, admitting is not going to make us a lower person.
Today we are where we are after 60 years is because we never admit to our mistakes and weaknesses. Searching sex related terms does not make us a perverted country, cause many might be doing it out of curiosity, just because they can do it, not because they were dying to do it.
Better discussion would be to admit that there got to be certain truth to that and how we can fix it as a community. Is more education required, do we need more religious influence on people or do we need to follow Scandinavian mind set and expose our youths to so much of nudity that its no longer a mystery to them and they dont feel curious anymore.
Pakistan or Englistan, both have good and bad points, so I'd just concentrate on the good ones.

I was born in UAE and spent a good amount of life there. Yet I hate UAE for many reason and among them is the prostitutes available right in from of your door so you dont need google to search for it even if you ban it by using the best proxy system in the world.
In 2003 government was afraid regarding the boom of prostitutes business not because they dont like it but because they were afraid of the disease like AIDS and due to that they have a rules from a long time to have blood test and they are more keen on it now.
"Almost" every Sheikh goes out at night in search of them and if you get a chance to visit and stay at normal residential area then you will see what I mean or just ask any taxi driver who are a big support to such business.
The results could be high in gulf countries if they wont ban such websites and also if there are not so much top class prostitution centers in Gulf.
Its not only about Pakistanis searching porn online its not only about any Muslim country googling for it but its about what it is implemented into your homes through internet, TV and maybe also radio.
If people want a ban on pornographic websites, then its not only those websites. Its also about the Cable media being telecast-ed on the TV and its also about those farmhouses where they do gathering only for the sake of sex.
Google and ISPAK are saying exactly opposite of it. There is no truth in this story whatsoever. There is no point admitting to a problem which is nothing but a figment of someone's imagination.

I think it is our responsibility now to go to news websites which reported this propaganda against Pakistan and show them the reality.

The problem lies where in our attachment and love for the country we forget that people are people.
Other reasons are:
1-We expect highest standard for people living in a particular country specially Pakistan.
2-We feel low of ourselves for no strong reasons. We feel sorry for ourselves quickly without giving much thoughts.
3-Constant bombardment of negative news makes people start belieiving any crap which comes out of big names in media.
Scenario is Fox starts, Dawn copies, people get a field day...!
4-Pakistani media puts out news copied exactly from other sources without verifying it until late when they see the reaction from people.
5-We believe any gora makes sense and any non-gora is stupid to the core.
6-People with negative agenda belong to IT and internet business specially people from neighbor country all over the world hell bent in making sure negative news of Pakistan goes out to the world unchecked.

TLK, of course my post was not directed at you. I fully agree with you about accepting one's weakness and try to correct them. It is just that there exist few people on GS who get some sort of mental orgasm by putting down Pakistan on each and every occasion.
Pakistanis are human too, and a nation very young (with a very high level of testosterone plus nothing much to do :D), so that's natural. They search for sexual terms just like any other nation would do, but selectively call them champions of porn searchers and start calling the country "Pornistan"?? Thats not without agenda.
BTW, despite all its faults and troubles (and hostile neighborhood) Pakistan has achieved miracles within a short span of 62 years. A small historical research will show how it started 62 years ago and where it stands now. I agree though, there is huge room for improvement in almost every department. But thats for another discussion.

What ISPAK article shows is that inaccuracies in google data are blatant.
When data has inaccuracy then we don't know whether we are number 1, number 10, or number 100.
