Why Danesh? He was pretty good in the tests. We could easily have Danesh and Abdul Rehman substitute in ODIs.
Also, Akmal should stay if Zulqy fails or something. But his staying is signalling that Zulqarnain might not be tried at all!

This is the best ever 17-men squad in green shirts (in decades). Players can be shuffled to make a number of winning combinations.
Depending on Inzy's fitness and players selected on the day, this squad looks well-enough to ensure a 5-0 whitewash of SA in ODIs.
But I find no drop-able player in this 17-man squad. (Except for Akmal/Zulqarnain where one of them will rest)

I would switch Afridi's spot with Malik's . Afridi is a pinch hitter. He needs to come down the order where he can make a quick fire 30+ runs and boost the scoring as long as his luck lasts. Also, switch Rana Nai with Shabbir to start off and see how Shabbir performs after coming back.

I would love to see Hafeez and Nazir open...but I think Akmal might open in ODI's as he did well last time he opened against WI. With Akmal opening with Hafeez, it gives a chance to have both Afridi and Rehman in the team. Its gonna be a tough call. I really hope they give a chance to Nazir.
Imagine Afridi, Nazir, Malik, Hafeez, Rehman, Younis, and Inzi in the slips in one team. More than anything else, we'll be a great fielding team!
This is probably the most likely team for the 1st ODI
12th man - Sami :D (thats all he's good for)

Yes u might be right, but with this sort of killer squad the series is not worthwhile. However, I am confident for a series win if Inzy stays fit but I am more keen in looking forward to the biggest ever ODI total that Inzy and his boys are well-able to register.
This World has never witnessed such a killer squad ever before(I guess). Some of the best hard-hitters on our domestic scene are finally combined in one unit. For this sort of squad, registering a total of 500+ is not beyond vision.This is my squad that can register a total of 500+ (easily) on its day.
[Even 1000 looks achieveable (if every boy delivers his best)

Younis is an ODI regular, but this is a squad of hard-hitters that can register the biggest ever ODI total. This squad is a nightmare for any bowling attack on its day (depending on their consistent performances, Pollock might change his mood to play the WC 
). If such hitters are put all-together in the national team, then they must be allowed to play together at least in one ODI and let the World know of their intentions.

Let’s keep it real. 300 is achievable on certain days but 500 is pushing it a bit i.e. maintaining an average of 10 over 50 overs is unthinkable despite what happened last year in a match b/w Aus and SA (that was just a one-off). SLA bettered that score but that was against a lesser team.
With the hit and miss players like Nazir and Afridi in your squad, chances of the side imploding are quite high I should imagine

Well, he is probably talking about “potential” of scoring 500… its the same potential people talk of Sami, now that you mention drugs, makes me think about those people

Reality hurts most of the times so don't forget we are still Akhter-less. :(
Aus registered the biggest ever total against SA and SA chased it at the end of the day depite seasoned Aus attack.
So if our boys can register a good-looking total of 300, then SA are (as much) likely to register more than that and to their advantage we are missing our biggest performer-at-stage (star) :) .
So our ultimate goal will be to register as big a total as possible and similarly in a chase just hit them hard from the start. This side has an edge (in hard-hitting) and we should try yo convert that edge to our maximum benefit.
If Inzy will stay fit througout the series to make the difference between two sides and some of our hard-hitters can conform to expectations, we end the series as winners (even make it 5-0). Otherwise if SA can handle (Akhter-less) Aus attack in the biggest-ever ODI chase, they can handle (Akhter-less) Pak attack as well, I guess. But cricket is always by luck, so hope for the best.

He should be in the team just for his quick leg spinners which will be very handy on slow pitches of West Indies. I hope he gets his batting form back in that case we will not even have this discussion. :D
Pakistan should play Malik, Hafeez and Afridi in Wordlcup this will give them opportunity to have very deep batting line up uptill number 8. They can just go in with 3 seamer.. Asif, Actor/Rana, Gul. This will be one powerful team. :D

He should be in the team down in the batting the order.
Not opening unless it is a flat track where he can make 100 off less than 40 balls.
