Did they just kill another 8 soldiers at a checkpost ?

Keep killing and getting killed, seems those militants are strong enough to launch attacks and kill soldiers.

It was quite possible to have zero army casualties if they go by the standards of Israeli or US army. btw, the supposed to be best army in the world i.e., US army personnel get killed mostly in ‘friendly fire’ that is unheard of in Pak Army.

there is no confirmed way to know the numbers or claims made by the army.

how can they determine the # of dead if jets are just dropping bombs and leaving?

There have to be heavy civilian casualties for sure…cuz there will always be people who do not leave their homes in that area no matter what.

I’m just concerned that the city-folks will bear the brunt of revenge as main cities will be targetted for sure, when those militants get a chance.

Only time will tell though.
