I can give u many more examples of tried miracles which people do not remember cause they landed flat on their faces. Brett Lee, Mcgrath, Harmisson, Simon Jones, Freddie, Zaheer Khan, Pathan, Nathan Bracken etc etc these are all products of a well supervised system which encourages competition and hard work. Pakistan has ben fortunate to find exceptional talent like Waseem Akram when they needed it most, but u cannot expect miracles to happen all the time.
Yes, having these events held once a year across the country is not a bad thing and actually sud be encouraged. BUT, this sud not be used as a selection tool to play teams like England which will be touring Pakistan in the next one month. As a matured cricketing nation with a proper domestic cricket network we sud place more emphasis on domestic cricketers and encourage those who excel in performance. That is the only way for sustainable growth.
