Pak should get the Chinese J-10 Fighters which are comparable to F-16's......
don't know why Pak Air Force is so obsessed with F-16's....just get the chinese to give us their J-10 fighters and we are good to go

It’s called progress. Americans did not become the experts of their fields overnight. It was a trial and error process that allowed them to develop the mean machines that you tout and vouch for right now.
JF10s/17s are very capable fighters, and have the capacity to give their competitors the run for the money, but give it time and it will procure to become one of the top notch fighter jets. Progress does not happen overnight. But those who invest in it, stand winners at the end. Pakistan being a partner in production of Thunder birds ensure that Pakistan will always have its own supply of hardware even in the event (rephrase “in the very likely event”) that Americans slam sanctions on Pakistan again, and render Pakistan unable to receive hardware from the west.
But the again, given your track records of “rants, and such”, the likes of Haqqani would pander American view at the cost of Pakistani progress. No suprises there!
In short, We’re FINALLY getting the F16s that should have been delivered a decade or so ago. America is like a dwindling Kmart, sometimes you have to take a raincheck even on the merchandise you’ve already paid for, and then there are the pesky desk clerks like my “esteemed friend” who would throw one liners at you and convince you that you’re making the right decision even if the end product you receive is soya beans. Whadda rip-off!

FC-20 will be the high end fighter for BVR engagements for PAF.The new version of SD-10 may even be better than AMRAAM itself.
F-16 will be dedicated to multirole,thanx for its A2G proven weaponary and AIM120C5 A2A missile.
JF-17 will supplement both and carry out escort missions,defence of airspace and CAP's.
