Pakistan Day Parade in Toronto Downtown

I heard there is going to be parade and a mela in downtown Toronto. Anyone has details what time its going to start and if any artist is coming?

i know there is masala masti mehndi going on right now in downtown, it's either at front harbour or infront of eaton center.

have to check news papers to find out about the parade.

This is 100% pakistani stuff Sarru from what i have heard. I heard they had it last year too, but the parade was in the morning like 10 am and very few people came. This time they are scheduling it in the afternoon.

Saw something on TV yesterday that, it will start at 1 pm on Sunday at Nathan Philips Square. Wondering if there will be stalls there?

dunno abt stalls but Ahmed Jahanzeb and Hadiqa will be there for the music show after the parade !

Thanks so much for posting this Amir. I called this number i got from Omni TV ad and this guy who picked up the phone was kinda rude. Anyhow he said the flag raising will be at 11 am. I was like what the hell...becuz i know its supposed to be at 1pm. Why can't this people get one thing right for once....now i am not too sure of the timings. For those who can get there....show your Pakistani spirit by being part of this event. Yes it is starting at 1 pm at City Hall and musical show will start at around 4.

my mom made us wear shalwar kameez and i guess i was the only guy wearing it along with some uncles.
