Much better than PPP. In fact, even PML-n could surpass it as PPP hasn’t done squat since bhutto’s time even if I vehemently disagree with a lot of his tactics and policies. You don’t even have a hope like in MQM with altaf biting the dust to at least start the fix because bhuttos are a clan and then zardari, talpurs anyone with “bhuttoisms” can take over the party. PPP is a lost cause.

Lets see what comes out of PTI as this party could be the deal breaker for the status quo if it turns out to be an institution NOT a personality cult like many other pakistani parties.

It is hoped that JSQM comprises of common educated and poor people of Sindh will replace PPP and liberate Sindh from slavery of Punjab.

Bhutto definitely was in trouble in his life and is still in problem after his death. Our nation needs a crash course in history instead of falling for slogans 'Idhar hum , idhar tum'. If Bhutto was only responsible for Dhaka fall, then these very people remain ready to hear what Liaquat Ali Khan said about Sindh's culture (maftooha ilaqe main basne wale gadhon aur ghoRon ke paalne walon ki koi saqafat nahin hoti) and what Mr Jinah did to Bengalis.

That was lie of the century. Jamaite Ha.r.ami with the connivance of Mardood Zia-ul-Haq, distorted the history. How ever from now on I agree with those who have contempt with Bhutto. He should have got separated Sindh after humiliating defeat from India in 1971 instead bringing back the disgraced, destroyed part of the country back to its feet.

Yes, Jamaties also put words in Bhutto's mouth. What is amusing is revisionist history by Bhutto worshipers that make him pak saaf & blameless for anything that happened on his watch.

Bhutto was not the only reason, but he was definitely part of the reason why country broke up. What revisionist jiyala historians want people to forget is the negative role he played in breakup of the country, destruction of the economy & the system he created after breakup of the country that to this day hasn't given us sense of being a nation.

If being the chief martial law administrator is not enough evidence of being a puppet of establishment, I wonder what would be.

His lust for power in 1970 created Bangladesh. His lust for power in 1977 invited military to intervene when PPP somehow won 93% of seats in Punjab. Now, either Bhutto was extremely liked in Punjab or wanted to stay in power with whatever means necessary is up to you to decide.

LARKANA: The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) has appealed to its supporters to boycott the Urdu press, saying that Urdu TV channels and newspapers had either blacked out or given negligible coverage to the party’s March 23 event in Karachi.JSQM vice chairman Dr Niaz Kalani expressed his dismay over what he described as unfair coverage, and also resentment over the forensic experts’ claim that steel nails and ball-bearings were found in the burnt-out car in which the charred bodies of two key JSQM activists were found near Bhiriya City on Friday.

Speaking to mourners and journalists at the soyem of the activists — Maqsood Qureshi and Salman Wadho —Mr Kalani along with party chief Sannan Qureshi and other central leaders at Qureshi House on Wednesday said the claim made in the forensic reports as ‘fact’ was a ‘drama’ to give an impression that the victims were carrying a bomb or some other explosive material in their car. “Had this been the case, the car would have exploded into pieces,” Mr Kalani argued, and alleged that forensic experts were distorting facts while killers of the activists were trying to hush up the case.“We totally reject the forensic report,” Dr Kalani said, and apprehended that Sukkur DIG Sharjeel Kharal and Naushahro Feroze Niaz Chandio might be transferred soon for coming out with a clear stand on the case. He complained that the so called ‘champions of Sindh cause’ did not even contact the party leadership to express their sympathy over the tragic incident, adding that only the Sukkur DIG bothered to visit the bereaved family.
“Mr Qureshi and Mr Wadho have been targeted and killed,” he insisted and called for a fair investigation.

JSQM chief Sannan Qureshi said six days had passed since the discovery of the charred bodies but no headway had been made in the investigation. He said an FIR would be lodged within a couple of days and a Sindh-wide protest over the barbaric act would be started. The protest would continue till justice was done with the victims’ families and the party, he said.
The soyem was attended by a large number of JSQM leaders, activists and supporters besides relatives and friends of the Qureshis.
Sanaan Qureshi, Dr Niaz Kalani and other central leaders later visited the graves of slain party colleagues and the bereaved families.

SUKKUR: The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) has rejected the forensic lab’s report on the deaths of Maqsood Ahmed Qureshi and Salman Wadho, terming it incorrect and based on false evidence.

Niaz Kallani, vice chairman JSQM, said that assassination of Maqsood Qureshi was a conspiracy against JSQM. He said that JSQM has rejected the forensic lab’s report which he termed was based on incorrect and false evidence. He was speaking at the Soyem of the assassinated JSQM leaders Maqsood Ahmed Qureshi and Salman Wadho at Ratedero on Wednesday.

Hundreds of JSQM activists and workers of other nationalist parties attended the Soyem. Earlier, the JSQM council met at Qureshi House in Ratedero. It was decided in the meeting of the council to register FIRs of the assassinated leaders within three days after consulting with a panel of lawyers. The meeting also decided to register a protest at the office of the UN.

“We have no hope to get justice from the government because it had not dispensed justice in the case of Bashir Khan Qureshi,” Kallani said.He claimed that the JSQM leaders were first kidnapped, then shot dead and later the car was set on fire with their bodies. He said that JSQM workers and leaders were sacrificing their lives for the interests and sovereignty of Sindh.Meanwhile, DIG Sukkur Sharjeel Ahmed Kharal condoled with JSQM Chairman Sanan Qureshi at Ratedero and told media persons that a probe was underway in the case.
