Re: Pakistan average economic growth under different head of states:
in my first post, I gave figures in growth rate only (real growth rate), as that is the figure that reflects economic growth and well being of people living in the state. Rest is just explanatory posts or back-ups. Dollar elements came in due to graph that is in dollars, and dollar GDP is important when comparing country with other countries.
For instance, for a person living in any country, what that person buys with money that person earns (receives in wages or salary) is important, and not what wage one gets, what is the value of that wage in dollars, and what is the price of the items in market.
Due to inflation, a person wage might rise in big way, but that is useless if prices around him also rises by similar amount.
Exchange rate may vary even in one day, but it does not matter to a person earning and buying in country that person is living.
But, rate his earning (salary or wage) varies (increase or decrease) with respect to price of goods (increase or decrease) at place he is living is important factor, and that is real growth or deterioration in his purchasing power, and that is to do with economy too, real growth or deterioration in economy.
