Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
Bhutto did few wrongs but you like it or not, his name has been a binding force for Pakistan after 1971 debacle…
He is founder of what we are proud of today, the Pakistan Nuclear Program!! which alone is enough to declare him a national hero…
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
He attacked them, and arrested the Governors of then NWFP and Balochistan, arrested the CMs and got NAP banned which was a terrible decision because got a national party NAP turned into a regional party…
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
And Personally, i do not like Bhutto
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
This was your binding force attacked in Traitor Ayoub era and prior to Ayoub era till today .
Re: Pakistan army
In an ideal world this would be the case.
But in Pakistan, where politicians would break off and sell chunks off the country, as well as kill thousands of citizens without a second thought, we need the military to put them in their place.
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
Well said :k:
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
Whether you like him or not it does not matter as long you speak the truth. Pakistan has suffered enormous damage since the murder of this great leader more than three decades ago.
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
Actually the military has. You would know that considering you are in Pakistan and get access to the news on a daily basis. The operation in Balochistan is not under civilian control. Pakistan die daily at the hands of the military in Balochistan and the Civilians were taking control back when your prophet Imran Khan staged his fiasco to get the military back in the drivers seat.
Re: Pakistan army
Just like how the military sold out to the Americans in the 1980s and the 2000s right?
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
Imran khan is just another civilian politician, proves my point that they are no Angels…they themselves hand over the country to the military. There is a government in Balochistan province as well who should impress upon the military to change their policies.
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
Yes. Lets impress upon them. Not like that hasn’t been tried for 40 years.
Re: Pakistan army
The only way politicians can get back their powers is through good governance..the backing of the masses. The way erdogan got control in Turkey. I don’t have any expectations from the midgets ruling Pakistan who are more concerned about their corruption than anything else.
Re: Pakistan army
You mean the 1980s?
Re: Pakistan army
You do realise we had no choice right?
Re: Pakistan army
Bull****. There is always a choice. Only cowards say that when they make a mistake.
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
What a type of binding force
DHAs & Askries , Fazaia , Bahria
Only in Punjab and Karachi
Re: Pakistan army
Its better to exert pressure through “joint” councils instead of over-throwing a civilian government.
Re: Pakistan army - the binding force
Qasam hay
Aik dafa Civilian government ko corruption kay khilaf threat karain
50% aik dafa main kam ho jaigi
Magar …
Re: Pakistan army
Bull****.
How do you propose we should have dealt with American air force planes jetting out from India and flying over our airspace?
When your country runs at America’s say so and has a military that can’t match them in any way, you can’t really say no, especially not right after 9/11.
I’m sure you mean well but you’re very naive.
