From time to time they do new Year Celebrations but I think this year they did not celebrated it because of earthquake. Coz 100000s of ppl died.
BTW, u should c the Pakistani new year, in Europe and USA New Year is nothing compare to Pakistan…

loll...the new year was not celebrated due to the earthquake...that is true...cuz otherwise every year its crazzyyy...i usually make it a point to go to pakistan in my winter hols ...outta saudi arabia to celebrate the new years...but this year there was nothincuz of the earthquake...
infact this year there were not even any eid parties amonst the pakistanis in jeddah outta respect for the earthquake victims...
and PCG, dont worry the new year celebs will be back on next year :)...chill out!
o...n jus to add to this debate...i don't see anything worng with celebrating the new year, if u do, then use the islamic calendar, and as the mullahs say "english is haraam as well" LOL (its true they say that!!! one of em stopped me and lectured me on how wearing a pair of jeans is haraam when i was in pakistan!!!!!) so dont wear jeans either!!! honestly, and seriously, there is nothing wrong in having fun on the night of the 31st of december!!!
